It seems like the opinion of the first commenter is that the team responsible for removing the spam is both technically outclassed and professionally unmotivated.
As for the new team mentioned in the second comment, that might explain the odd posting over at the 'Yahoo Answers Team' acount (https://answers.yahoo.com/activity/questions?show=2EZN3C33VXYTK5NTNTZHIMYNH4&t=g) - after six months of no posts, the other day a question "What is your favorite color?" was posted at that account, and then that question was taken down . . . maybe it was a test by a new group?
There is a ''new Answers team''? That's great! Let's hope the new team will actually do stuff this time round. May I have the link to this Yahoo forum? I always thought this was the only forum.
A response from one staff member over at the yahoo forum about chinese spam:
"We have a team that patrols Answers and shuts down offending accounts that are doing this. However, as you've seen, these people/robots are relentless. I'm not sure if the team can create a better algorithm for blocking these posts because I'm not familiar with their team/system. Answers hasn't really been in the spotlight lately either, so I'm not sure how much attention this is getting."
A response from another staff member:
"Thanks for letting us know. There is a new Answers team that we're in contact with, we'll get this info over to them so they can work on stopping it. "
