If I don't want a new password, leave mine alone
Leave my settings and passwords alone. The only problem that I have ever had with this account is YOU. This account is more than twenty years old. It is no wonder that yahoo is losing market share. It is poor decision making within corporate. I like my password. I want to return to what it was.

I HAVE HAD IT WITH YOUR **** ABOUT THE PASSWORDS.
You are not significantly more secure and you are driving us all crazy with the nonsensical password junk. Either go to a 2 step verification process that would be more secure or cut it out. You guys are *LAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!* -

I have to agree, although I understand leaks and such happen. However I have a set number of passwords that I cycle through which we all have to have now as everything requires passwords. NOW Yahoo forces me to change mine without warning as to why and I also cannot use any of my set ones as they are too familiar to the original. This really is getting ridiculous. ALSO because of this process I can not seem to remember my NEW Password so when I request it from Yahoo it only tells me someone accessed my account via questions but does not give me my password that I used. I think its time to move all me email to Hotmail.

This is a really dumb suggestion. If Yahoo tells you to change your password, it means your current password has been compromised. Yes, it's probably Yahoo's fault the password was leaked (or you just have a really bad password), but that doesn't change the fact that your login credentials have likely shown up on a list of account info being traded around the internet, by people that would like to defraud you. Change your password and shut up.

Had this same email since early 1980s. Have no "mobile" phone. Can't see old account info to easily update. YOU locked me out of my email by not accepting a new password I gave YOU when YOU insisted YOU wanted a new one. That's not nice. Chat didn't work. No way to contact you. Now I've suddenly been able to get back into my email and don't even know how I did it! What part of user friendly don't you understand? About fed up.

You make me sign in with an account key instead of a password. THERE IS NO WAY TO TURN IT OFF. ARE YOU TRYING TO LOSE CUSTOMERS? I AM HAPPY TO CHANGE MY PASSWORD, ONCE.
It says you go to account privacy and then account key and hit manage. THERE IS NO ACCOUNT KEY UNDER PRIVACY. ARE YOU TRYING TO GET RID OF USERS?
