The new format is a step back, here's why....
1) The calendar widget - The option is gone to not show the full calendar as well as to set how many days of events to display.
2) The RSS feed setup is a HUGE step back. Gone is the ability to collapse (+) or expand (-) the feeds. Now the only option is Full (showing a few lines about the topic) or Compact (to just show the topics). Bring that back!!!!!!
3) Also with the RSS feeds gone is the ability to set them as last 24 hours, 2 days, 3 days, etc. The 24 hour option needs returned. Too the age of each individual topic under the feed needs brought back (15 minutes, 1 hour, etc?
Please fix ASAP or allow us to return to the old format till you do!!!

I would like to see the module that gave me summaries of news about stocks in the portfolio back as well. This was a useful tool and the main reason that I used my.yahoo.
Thanks

You forgot to mention that the change in portfolio value is gone from the Finance module, rendering it useless, the Science News module hasn't updated for days. You have to take extra steps to get a list of new articles, and the Dear Abby module is gone, although they still think it's important enough to list on the left of news pages. Again, several steps to get what you need.
My Yahoo isn't about me anymore. They keep removing customization, not enhancing it.

I'm done with Yahoo. They don't give a **** about us, and this forum proves it. I'm migrating everything to igHome, which is everything my old MyYahoo was, but actually better instead of the worthless junk Yahoo has created.

You have 30 days to fix the my Yahoo format or else I will be using another site homepage.
Did Marissa perform any usability or user experience evaluations?
Very Poor execution unless you are trying to make people leave.

Yahoo, here's some news for you. As far as your new format goes, what your users think matters more than what you think. This will be reflected in all your important numbers, most critically your ad revenue.
I'll just add my two cents. Classic My Yahoo worked fine and it ain't broke, so don't try to fix it. You're not improving it, no matter what you choose to believe. Let us vote "with our feet" by giving us the option to stay with the old format. And for the sake of all that is holy, undo what you did to Yahoo Mail. It is bad news. Fortunately, I can use Apple's iPad app with it. But the web interface, when I'm stuck with that, is a mess. Period.
