BRING BACK THE OLD YAHOO PAGE!
When I clicked on I.E this morning, I had a major panic attack. I saw a piece of trash addressed as "My.Yahoo.com". I thought Yahoo had deleted the My.Yahoo home page I customized years ago. I had my vital calendar of events at the top! I ciicked on the "Home" tab of the new trash page and the original www.yahoo.com page appeared. That original page was the one I was used to see upon entering the Internet. I should be able to read all of the great news, trends, etc.on that page and THEN sign into MY "My.yahoo.com" page. There have been tabs on my home page to customize or edit our home page if we CHOOSE.. The piece of trash My.Yahoo page you have forced upon us is an unwelcome, unnecessary step. It is one more page to download on my already taxed old lap top and it takes up virtual memory which slows my computer down. The original www.yahoo.com home page should be there when we get on the internet. Bring that page back and get rid of the trash page. Why couldn't yahoo send users a rough draft of new ideas or updates and get feedback? I already curse when I get into my "new Yahoo Mail". I miss the tried and true Classic Mail. The new e-mail still "bites". It is unattractive, not user friendly, the spell check feature is terrible, and when I try to scroll up or down to change a word or sentence, it scrolls up to the top or bottom instead of staying on the line I clicked on. I have to go through this process at least six times to make EACH change. And I know that Yahoo depends on advertising for revenue but whose idea was it to sneak in banner ads at the top or bottom of the e-mail list so that users can accidently click on it? Who thinks all of these changes make Yahoo BETTER? Must be only the programmer(s) who are trying to come up with ANYTHING new so they can keep their jobs. Why change things without our review and consent? The users have to suffer the consequences -- and pay monthly to suffer!
