Problems with new My Yahoo
Please allow people to try the new my yahoo then opt back out - the only way to check out the new setup is to fully opt in - then you are stuck with no way back.
Font way too big and no way to adjust.
Less configurable apps.
Apps are rearranged all over the place, and some old ones are no longer available.
Hovering over news items no longer gives brief synopses.
New portfolio app sucks - give back ability to see all at portfolios at once without the stupid name pulldown.
Allow more theme customization like there used to be.
Allow resizing column widths like there used to be.
My Yahoo has been my homepage for over 10 years and the new one is practically unusable for me. I'm going to have to finally abandon it for something else.
All I want this afternoon is to check out the local movies, but My Yahoo app cannot remember my location. At least I think that is why the app is just a blank space until I click on it. No need to look here, folks. There's nothing to see.
Once I get to the list of theaters with the movies, there is no indication of the movie quality nor theme until I click on each one individually. Will look for another website to do this.

I want my old yahoo back because I can not sign in to my account for the past 3 days and I have very important E-mail to respond back to.
I agree with most all comments. I wanted to see how the new version worked and lost my original setup completely. None of the themes, content or others work. I am looking for a new home page. Dave Thomas
I want my old email page back. get rid of this new page. it sucks.
Yahoo, you really need to make the font in the modules smaller, or give us a way to adjust the size. The huge font in the modules is so jarring that I've had to temporarily change my homepage from My Yahoo to something else. I can't even tell what other problems/issues there may be, since I can't bear to stay on the new My Yahoo page long enough to check.
Don't like the New Yahoo...Works too slow, hard to navigate without it stalling, Mail takes too long to load....Want my Old Yahoo Back!!!!
Configured My MSN and Netvibes and am ready to switch to one of the other when Yahoo pulls the plug on My Yahoo Classic. Not happy about it, and the features I have on Yahoo are not fully replicated on the other sites, but what's a fella to do, eh?

what was wrong with the way it was. The way it is now sucks.
I'm going to give them a couple more weeks to fix these issues, especially all of the glitches with email, and then I'm going to forward all of my email to my Gmail account and make a permanent switch to Google. Using email and getting basic info like news and weather shouldn't be this difficult, especially when there are so many other options out there that work properly. I'm very disappointed. I've been using Yahoo as my exclusive service for about 15 years and I can't believe how badly they messed it up.

my yahoo account always frezz up on me I don't know what to do
I hate the new page. If it doesn't change I will just drop it.
Here's something anyway... I logged into the "Austrailian" my yahoo "au.my.yahoo.com". It works, views, and behaves "exactly" like the US version. Go figure. Here's the big question, If we "try" the new US my yahoo web page version (the one they say there is no return from!) Will the other country's version still remain the "old format"?? I don't have the guts to try it out : ) but if someone does, we might have a way to have it both ways! Obviously, Yahoo folks don't give a **** at all and I am certain they don't read nor take advise from the forums so we're on our own. So now I'm using the Australian version which is no different from my US one but still wonder if one version changes all??? (clue, I think the US version creates different cookies etc. so may not trigger the "can't go back" situation in the out of country version.) Someone try it and let us know!!
I agree with all of these comments. I wish there was a way to reinstall my old yahoo. NEW YAHOO SUCKS

If you really want to try the new one without risking access to the old, get a new user ID. Logging in with the new ID will show you the new My.Yahoo in all its "glory."

Try asia.my.yahoo.com until they wake up.
Just checked back to see how things are going since I dumped the new My Yahoo a couple weeks ago. Looks like the same big clunky interface as before. I'm from the Dragnet school of web design "Just the Facts, Maam." Don't need graphics taken from a child's building block set or billboard sized text. I thought I was in the minority but apparently not. Hint: Netvibes is a satisfactory substitute.
I absolutely need an option to go back to my old My Yahoo web page "before" trying the new one. Who in their right mind would tell you to try something out yet it's permanent. ("buy this car, but you can't try it out first, you can't get your old car back, and there is no refunds!!) That's pretty insane. I'd love to see if the new page format is better, but there is no way I can, knowing that what I have now will be gone forever. Taking choices away, is not a way to run a consumer business.
