Currently, I can have a neat and clear list of my favorite cities with 3 days forecast, but in the new My Yahoo, it can show only one city, and there is no way to create a list.
Dear Yahoo, I DO NOT live (or care about) New Jersey. Stop showing me their weather and news. I change my location and its usually good only until I visit another link. I'm instantly back to New Jersey.
As a bonus, I'm able to delete my ACTUAL location, but not the New Jersey location.
NO PROBLEM,, WORK AROUND!!! log into yahoo
I don't want to be "located" by my isp. Please let my "Default" location come up when I open my start page.....you know, like it used too with the old and WONDERFUL "my Yahoo?
Location settings for weather and news – Every time you visit My Yahoo, we try to detect your current location and give you local weather and news stories. If you don’t see the right city, you can change your location and save it for quick access. As soon as we have a more permanent solution we’ll make sure to let you know.
just switch it around

I have the same complaint but now with a new twist. New York keeps coming up as my location although I have deleted it many times. Who cares what the weather is like in New York, I am nowhere near there. I keep selecting my location and keep getting ignored.. Fed up!
Yahoo should subcontract out development.
I have no idea what city/area is being shown in the weather window, and it does not appear to be possible to set the default city to my location.
Why do you give me such a huge block for weather, but only show one of my favorites. I don't need a 50 size font to show me one city. I am not blind. Use all the space to show me all my favorites like you used to. Here is a hint Yahoo. If you try to be like Google or Apple, then we will all go to Google and Apple, because they do it better. Stay true to your brand, or you will lose more customers than you were. Second hint. Lose most of your lame content like all the Kardasian news, and you will keep more customers.

I would like the old My Yahoo back. The weather only lets you view one city at a time. I use to be able to veiw four at a time. I travel so would like to see my other favorite cities. Also the new yahoo won't default my cities weather. If you can't fix this I to will be gone from Yahoo. I have been a longtime user but this sucks.
I don't understand why you would want to fix something if it's not broke. Very frustrating.
As others have commented, the weather insists I live in a town 15 miles away and won't let me
change it. I've ALWAYS had a list of several towns where I want to keep track of the weather - can't do that with the new Yahoo. I do like the looks of the new Yahoo, but I want my weather back the way it was!!!!!!!!!!!!
Also, the one city that I can see is not where I live! you went backward on this "feature"

I totally agree with most of these comments. I think the new foremat is unuseable for my needs. Why are you messing with it?
The weather thing sucks. Miserable graphics look like a child drew it and the **** thing insists that I am located in a town 15-20 miles away. The entire new look of My Yahoo is a bust. You guys really screwed the pooch on this one.

I agree the new weather is awful. It keep telling me I live in a town about 20 miles north of where I do live and it won't let me use my default town. I'm using my yahoo as my home page. But I'm changing that.

I do live in New York. I would like to see the weather and news for my customized locations not New York.
I want to have the capability to change the current location on Weather List. I am in New York but I can see is Dallas weather. Thiis is due to some stupid designer making current location as permanent based on IP. We are big company with head quarter in Dallas but I am in New York. Why force us to see Dallas weather only?
This limitation to a one-city display for weather is a deal-breaker for me. Thankfully, I was smart enough to save all my daily-use bookmarks elsewhere, so when it's time to move on, I'm gone from "your yahoo".

Not only have I lost my location weather, the current 'offering' cannot remember that I use Celsius and not Fahrenheit. Who approved this 'upgrade' without testing it? Such incompetence.
The new weather is awful. It always and only shows the "current location" defined by your IP address that your (DSL) Internet provider randomly assigns each time you connect to the Internet. After jumping through several hoops, you can add cities, but the cities do NOT show on your home page (only the current location displays); the only way to see the added cities is to click into the weather app. I'm going to look elsewhere for a portal page. This stuff isn't new, and Yahoo should have gotten it right. There is a BETTER choice available: MSN (and maybe Excite).
