Please bring back the old My Yahoo
Your new "My Yahoo" doesn't even come near to the old "my Yahoo". If it doesn't change back soon I'll be looking else ware for a new homepage that is much more customizable than this.
We appreciate the feedback we’ve receive thus far with regards to the new My Yahoo layout and features.
We’re continually developing new product concepts to bring great experiences to our users. We’d love to hear more feedback about the design changes you’re seeing. Feel free to continue posting here with any additional feedback.

I can honestly say there is not one thing that I like about the "new" layout. The work around for now was to use the canadian version but you are taking that away now too. Why do you want longtime users to leave and find something that is usable. The only group that I can think of that would enjoy the new format would be 14 year old girls and that make up a very small percentage of the population. You have hundreds of pictures for the back ground but only a few layout. You cant tell me that all of your programmers are so incompetent that they cant make a classic layout so that myyahoo could still be useful.
And now we get an email about the new and approved answer section!!!! Another worthless yahoo attempt at improvement. Now we get force fed what they think are the hottest answers to worthless questions. My only enjoyment from Yahoo is now following all the complaints of people here. For the first time since fantasy games started I will not be doing yahoo brackets for the NCAA tournament. I will be playing with ESPN and CBSSports
Your attempt at "improvement" has been a dismal failure. RSS feeds randomly quit working, "My teams" doesn't work despite what you say. Many other problems and much less functionality. Why not admit you screwed up and simply return the old pages. Rapidly losing faith in Yahoo.
Listen to those that make you profits.

Yahoo doesn't care what the users want in a personal page. If they did care, then they would have already provided us with a way back to what we had. It's been 6 months.
I would also at least like the choice to use the old My.Yahoo homepage. The new one is attractive, but provides less information than the old. Please make the old page or a higher information, less pretty page an option.
I've posted 2 comments to this issue that they must not like since they both have been deleted. I guess they really don't care what we think.
Some alternative sites, it's time to stop complaining and vote with our feet. Jot these down quick before the powers that be deletes this comment also.
Transition complete. Very unfortunate, but I've had enough. Tried to like the new My Yahoo layout, can't stand it. Mail is slow and unresponsive. After well over 10 years I've moved on.
You've lost me. You took away features and messed everything up. Bye bye.
I agree with the OP. My biggest complaint is the weather. You people haven't come any closer than 35 miles from my location, and those times are few and far between. Get rid of the "detect location" and fix the permanence of my location choices and I could live with it. If you don't I will probably move over the Chrome.
After crafting my Australian MyYahoo page for years... Stocks, Internet shortcuts, local feeds, I thought whatever problems yahoo have they sure have a great start page, and I wondered just how good it could get with new management/ideas.
Well, they have NO ideas. Now I am about to be ejected with everyone else around the world to the US MyYahoo mobile home page, which for me is about as useful as a 404 banner.
I sincerely doubt that you appreciate the feedback you have received thus far with regards to your failed attempt to enhance My Yahoo's layout and features. In fact, from what I have witnessed, you are doing everything you can to ignore your users. When tens of thousands of users jumped to the ca.my.yahoo.com site to retain much of the functionality and ease of use they lost when you mismanaged the redesign, your solution is to shut it down rather than fix My Yahoo. Simple examples are the lack of a quick quote look for stock symbols in the new, very limited My Portfolio window.
With Google's decision to kill off iGoogle last fall, you were in a great position to maximize this redesign and draw their users to you. Instead, they have little reason to convert and they are bumping into former My Yahoo! users who are looking for a new home.
It never was My Yahoo! and I understood that. But the obnoxious way you jammed Your Yahoo! down our throats is just too much.

The new Yahoo format is less informative and harder to navigate than the old one. Everyone I have talked to dislikes it. Result: I have moved away from Yahoo except to make these protests from time to time. What are the advantages of the new design?

For anyone reading this. It is obvious Product Support does not appreciate the feedback and are not continually developing new product concepts to bring great experiences to our users. They won't listen to us but they will listen to their advertizers. Everytime an ad pops up on Yahoo, email the advertizer to let them know how bad My Yahoo is and why you are leaving. They will take their advertizing dollars elsewhere and Yahoo will fix the mess they made.

About a year ago I left microsoft Hotmail for less of a change than you made to this site. If you want to keep your advertizers, you should fix the mess you made. It would be simple. (1) delete everything you added, (2) add everything you deleted, (3) fire the guy who though the change was a good idea>
Your axing http://ca.my.yahoo.com/??? I moved there to escape the ****** new My Yahoo with the huge honking header that takes up a quarter of the page! What about My Yahoo in Singapore, Australia, the Philippines? Guess I'll try moving over there... It's that or move over to the the GOOGLE MONSTER, Dammit!!!
I wonder if YourYahoo! is trying to get into the Guiness Book of World Records as the worst customer service of all times, both for internet, and for all businesses combined? Or are they going for the record for most comments gathering feedback without taking action? I believe they have accomplished all. So now it is time that they get into damage control and address all these issues before it is too late and nobody is left to use Yahoo but its stockholders who will lose billions when Yahoo goes belly up!
found the help link on Sunday. Today is Thursday. They say they will respond in eight hours. By my calculation eight hours has long since gone by! Just another sign that Yahoo doesn't give a **** that they have the worst customer service in the history of internet!!!
