Physician heal thyself
I find the Yahoo website so full of annoying flash **** that I rarely want to read what seem otherwise interesting stories.

Why not add a useless toolbar that you can't customize, when I already have a yahoo toolbar customized my way? Yeah! Great idea!!
I already have yahoo for firefox, and yahoo toolbar, which I have to keep customizing because every time I turn around you guys are adding buttons I don't want. So yeah, now you've given me a "NEW" toolbar right on my header that I cannot customize, and is full of **** I will never use. If I want to know what sports are on I know where to look, I don't want it on my toolbar. Sheesh! STOP ALREADY!!

provide a means to scan headlines. Some of us don't care about pretty pictures, we just have a limited time to review material.

Allow video viewing in Safari on Mac. Only works in Firefox now.
Can't view Pogue videos with Safari on Mac running 10.9.3. Works with Firefox.
71st rankedMarty,
There are some additional steps to improve the Yahoo Tech video quality on Safari.
Check your browser version, and make sure you have the latest version installed.

If you’re still experiencing issues and are using Safari 5.0, please update.

fix comments section errors
between comments not seeming to post not being able to view comments etc. it gets annoying especially since any idiot with a modern web browser can look at your code using developer mode.

More up to date and current tech news
Current tech news site has too few up to date and current tech news articles. I have to go to other sites to get more of the latest tech news. For a tech related company, Yahoo has a very poor tech news section. And get rid of all the pictures, maybe then you will have room to post more of the latest tech news.

When I click on an article to read, the display should come back to the same article
Keep articles in same order and come back to the same article after reading it.

Large images are not efficient. Take a lesson from NBCNews and base your layout on the type of reader viewing your webpage.
Sure, large images which you can flip through are great for tablet readers or those with a mobile device, but for the majority of the desktops without touch screens the design is inefficient. YOU CAN determine the browser that is viewing your webpage and adjust your design based on this. Viewing large images for news is not efficient. NBCNews did the same thing and now a vast majority of people, including myself, no longer read the news there. Check out their Facebook page for the flood of comments based on this design if you need perspective.

Bring back simple summaries.
I've mostly stopped reading because the tiles make it harder to find relevant articles and slower to load.

Weekly emails with link to latest Pogue articles
I subscribed to NY Times weekly tech emails and always looked forward to reading the latest Pogue review. Is there a way that I can get updated when there is a new article?
