Please get rid of the right away!!!! The old format was much better.194th ranked
Why are you making Yahoo so unusable? I can't find the place to change to my location, I don't live in Sunnyvale, CA!5th ranked
Yahoo Movies should detect your current location; however, you can change the zip code by clicking on “Change location” at the top of the Showtimes page.
If the location/times are changing for you, please attempt the browser troubleshooting below.
Thanks for the feedback!
Yahoo takes too long to display on my laptop. I have an older Sony Vaio, which makes the load times almost unbearable, if not impossible. Thanks.256th ranked
How bout not playing a 30 second advertisement on a 30 second video I want to watch256th ranked
The latest design really sucked. One would have to keep clicking on "More Showtimes" before he can look up a movie screen/place in the ALL THEATRES box. Otherwise, he'd just have what's on the screen. Someone should get fired for wasting all the space and time on this current display format.256th ranked
Make show times up-to-date. I could not get show times for Friday in my city (today is Wednesday). Location needs to be changed every time.256th ranked
you show times at the Roxy starting after 4 pm (roxy 11 Camarillo, ca)
how about the matinees??
quit making changes as you are screwing things up. does anyone ever do a q/a check.
you have yet to address the old issue of what showtimes are matinee - then again, if you don't list them, you don't have to fix your code, do you?256th ranked
This is the second time in a year, that the update to Yahoo Movies section has done this to the page. The recent update has reverted to making the "change location" toggle for "preferred" Theater location viewed is now hidden or shadowed. The page is also ignoring the user's default location , which works on other Yahoo pages like: maps. So as it is, NO ONE can use "change location". Please repair this error.256th ranked
When the page shows up, the ALL THEATRES tab does NOT give ALL screens, just whatever's loaded with that particular page. How can you say ALL THEATRES? That's lying, or stupidity? The icons for each movie is just toooooo huge for your own sake. Wasted space IMO. Fire those who designed the current format.256th ranked
If you click on the “Get Showtimes” link at the top (https://www.yahoo.com/movies/showtimes) it’ll take you to a page with all the theaters in your area and you can scroll down to find a particular location. Once you’re at the bottom, you can click on “More Showtimes” to increase the range and populate more theaters further out.
If you know the theater name, you can also CTRL + F within your browser to type in the name and locate a specific theater.
Hope this helps! Let us know if you have any other questions.
PLEASE STOP THE COMERCIALS ...... I'M JUST TRYING TO SEE ONE MOVIE TRAILER....256th ranked
Your new product is terrible. I'm outahere for good. Can't even correctly detect my location and won't allow me to specify one as default.
Go back to a product that works.8th ranked
If you go to the “Showtimes” tab at the top, just below the Yahoo search bar, you should see your local theaters with the playing movies and times. The new layout uses your current location; however, you can change the location by clicking on the “Change location” link (which uses zip codes) and it will show the surrounding theaters. You can also use the date, theater, and movie drop-down menus just below to filter all the specifics.
If your seeing a different location when signed in, you may want to change your default location.
We appreciate the feedback, and thanks for using Yahoo Movies!
Use the old page. This reverts to California. Got local theater click movie get CA showtimes. Not useful. A real pain.
Allow individuals to select a default location that it will always open with. Allow for viewing alternate location favorites. When you find a movie in the theater of your choice when you click on it, give that theater's info not California. Go back to the old page. It was user friendly and easy to navigate. Why is it when people call themselves improving things it becomes more complicated requiring 4 steps to the 1 you use to make? I hate this new page and will find another movie listings page if this is not improved.134th ranked
I agree with what everyone says - I can't find the reviews, showtimes, and I'm not getting the right locations. Also the menu bar floating on top of the videos is really annoying.71st ranked
I’d recommend some video troubleshooting steps to help fix this problem. Details below.
Hope this helps!
Bring back the roll over pop up of the movies with reviews shown in the pop up. Yahoo movies used to work like this and it was great. You could check the movie times and if you wanted more info on a movie or didn't recognize it, you could roll over the movie and the pop up has the review rating and a short synopsis. A quick click on the review would take you to the full list if you wanted more details. Worked great. The new layout if all flash and a pain to drill down to find any substance.

Why is there 3+ inches of empty whitespace on the sides of the articles? Why does the search bar / header take up an inch or more of space? Why does every article require me to make extra clicks just to read the entire article? Why have you made the Yahoo Movies home page look like a series of tiles like Windows 8, an almost universally hated (by consumers) layout design?
I like some of the articles posted on Yahoo Movies, but the layout is so atrocious that it is literally painful / difficult for me to look at.107th ranked
Cut back on the slideshows and GIFs, esp the 1-second long GIFs. I usually back out of slideshows just to see 10 pictures etc. that could easily be scrolled down. I just backed out of this movie apocalypse article, slideshows can be slow and a bother to click forward or get back to the original page because you just added 10 pages to your browser.256th ranked
Put the freaking selection for your zip code area up front and easy to find, so you don't have to wander all over the G.D. place to find it

Get rid of the auto playing video ads. They waste my time, my data, and just **** me off! I am LESS likely to patronize any business that uses them as it creates a negative impression of that business.71st ranked
