  1. Yahoo Writers Use Insensative Words And I Was Censored For Quoting Them in A Comment

    In an article on Yahoo Travel: 12 Things Foreigners Hate About the US, the writer used several words that were insensitive. In trying to quote the writer in the comments section I was censored by Yahoo so I guess I cannot scold them for using hurtful wording when I quote their own writers in articles posted on Yahoo. "sorry your life sucks" was a headline in one of their topics in bold but I got censored when quoting that. Also, in a chart about American measurements it said "arbitrary ******** rollercoaster" as a title. I was censored in trying to…

  5. Fix "book my hotel"

    That's the last time I'm watching "This page has either moved etc." I'll book my hotel elsewhere. Good riddance Yahoo shares.

  11. send receipts automatically

    For travel that is prepaid, with yahoo travel receiving payment, the new Yahoo Travel does NOT
    a) send a receipt by email OR
    b) provide a link on the website to view/print a receipt.
    Further, the call center at 1-800-Yahoo-Tr requests another dept to send a receipt within 24-48 hours by email. I have tried this unsuccessfully.
    This is a basic component of retail business - take money, give a receipt. This is shameful and far below basic standards of doing business.
    I am reporting Yahoo Travel to the FTC and Dept of Transportation.

  12. The photo captioned "couple walking at Puerto Morelos is NOT Puerto Morelos outside of Cancun, there are no boardwalks and no mountains!

    Please make sure your photos are correctly reflecting the captions you added below, as it is misleading to have a photo of Puerto Morelos, who is struggling economically, showing a pacific coastal town, and not the actual Puerto Morelos outside of Cancun!

    Make it possible to check past itineraries.

    Let's face it: Yahoo is not, and never will be, known for its accurate, up-to-the-minute hard-hitting journalism. Its main strength is in the interaction among readers.

    I find the lack of a comment thread on some articles really obnoxious.

  19. Fix your problems

    I understand advertising is what your profits are made from but, the new layout is awful. I expanded an article and voila, NO article all the bold ads below just stayed there. Plus photo stories suck! You should fire everyone on staff who is responsible for these, most of the time they are incomplete to the point of embarrassment. But who's gonna listen??? I don't think Yahoo really cares, people still click and read junk
