  3. Worst National Parks?

    The Yahoo Travel article "the Worst National Parks" is the most asinine thing I've ever seen on Yahoo. These locales are NOT wastes of Tax Payer dollars as you claim. They are ecosystems & environments unique to their respective locations in North America, & to suggest otherwise is not only short-sighted, but idiotic. This article should be retracted, and Yahoo Travel should issue an apology to the United States.

    I usually want to rent a car, when I travel. I used to use Yahoo! Travel a lot. However, now all your site readily offers is flights and hotels. Bring back RENTAL CARS!!!! (And your former site was much better to navigate and use.)

  6. I used to love using Yahoo! Travel. Now . . . ugh.

    The Yahoo! Travel "upgrade" has the appearance of being poorly considered. It used to be simple and clear and a pleasure to use. I get it. You needed to fit dozens of ads on the page. I'll make no criticism of the site's revisions because of this. Ads pay the bills. But why make the site less useful. And why would you remove the rental car option? Or have you just hidden it?     Totally lame. Looking for flights on a timeline is ridiculous. Having to scroll over the time bar to see the actual depart time is odd. This site looks like it was created by someone trying to impress everyone how many cool things he could add. Simplicity is best. Off to Travelocity!! Good luck.

  18. Don't publish Matt Meltzer

    On November 11, this 'journalist' published a list of 99 problems of flying. Number 8, that is, within the top 10, reads "Those jerks whose nut allergies have ruined peanuts on planes for everybody". Those jerks are often children who don't have the option to 'turn off' their allergies. I'm not sure how editors thought it was appropriate to publish an article referring to them as "jerks", or in the original thrillist text, a**holes.

    Airline reward programs (like AA Advantage) are being altered to prevent elite customers from getting upgrades. They are engaging in fraudulent and deceptive business practices! This is a direct result of the US Airways purchase of AA. You REALLY need to investigate and report on this disturbing trend.
