What is the point of including links that require subscriptions without including a notice of the requirement?
The notion of including a link requiring a subscription to access is nothing more than thinly disguised advertising. This is unethical.

Swap the 3rd column with 2nd, so that I dont have to keep moving my eye for end to end
Swap the 3rd column with 2nd, so that I dont have to keep moving my eye for end to end over the dead space in between which I have already read. Also it will be good on user experience of there is smooth free flowing two adjacent columns

The new page won't allow me to go to my mail...REALLY! All the stupid stories that I ignore are in my face but I cannot go to the one thing I use this website for? Well, it looks like I will have no choice but to switch to google.

Where is Weather?
Ask any media executive, she/he will tell you weather is a major, MAJOR feature. A really innovative idea would be to allow the user (us, the people you are trying to retain as readers of your advertising) customize their Yahoo! home page, so everybody gets what they want.

Where's the weather, the Horoscope, friends birthday notices...Go back to the old front page, bring back the old card games. If you just have to do something new, make a new web sight, and Leave this one ALONE!!!!

I miss the old layout with the carousel slider - that was the ONLY reason why I still visited Yahoo over Google.
Please go back to the old layout. That's where I got my "quick" daily news from. Now without it, I have to admit I won't be using Yahoo any more :(
