Very much dislike this new design! Here is a way you could fix it, just add the Old Carousel slider with top news (up to 100+ latest news).
Since this was what distinguished Yahoo from the others. Don't go back to the old design, just keep this new one, but add the side to side slider, making emphasis on top stories. Good luck, like this you could salvage your reputation.

New layout is freshman work, not professional design at all, every new layout just keeps loosing user

I use IE at work and at home. Unfortunately, I got the new format anyway at work but still have the old one at home - different IE, obviously. I think the new one is awful and want to go back to the old one.

Don't change the design on IE or Firefox please, since they render the old design still
