The new page is horrible!! You matched the horrible format like MSN; sucks. Put the scrolling carousel back!
The MSN format that has been adopted is horrible and just a cluttered mess with no distinct way to use. The scrolling carousel of latest news was the best format out there and the reason most people used. It was user friendly, appealing, and the best overall. Go back to the old format and update the look of the stuff around the scrolling headline carousel

*****DO YOU (anyone) WANT YOUR OLD "Homepage" BACK ?? ..follow my steps..
- Whatever "browser" you're using, FIND OUT "HOW" to "remove" the YAHOO "cookie" ..
- Then, ...CLEAR your browser's "Web Cache" ..ok! ,,and THAT should return the old Homepage that you love!-- AND (as another suggestion) ...Look to see if there's a "box" in your "browser" (inside Tools/Options/Advanced or etc)...to Automatically UPDATE "Search engines" .. if you see it..then--> UN-check it!!! - ("un-tick" the box)
Much love to ya..

YES, YES this new home page is a disaster, but it is not an MSN home page.

Instead of being able to see several news articles easily per scroll and choosing what one I want to read, now I can only fit 2 on my screen at a time. This is unwieldy, and frankly completely unusable. If there isn't an option to go back to the old Yahoo! start page, or at least something less annoying, I'll be switching to a start page that has a better user interface.

Somebody is getting paid a lot of money to do their best to destroy what was satisfying customers. If they don't change it back, I will switch to Google or some other site. This isn't worth it. I'll take the time and trouble to switch.

Why are they doing this? It is infuriating. Nobody seems to like the change at all. It's annoying, to put it VERY mildly.

This format sucks!!! I want the old one back or I'm going to change my home page to Google as well as my email address. Whoever authorized this web page design and the person who designed it should be fired.

For what ever reason my Yahoo home page has just been changed and it is horrific!!!!!. I am amazed a company of this stature would do such a thing. As much as I hate to do, I have changed my personal homepage to Google. The new Yahoo format is a headache from the start, and I was always told to avoid bad situations..........

Less info, fewer options, fewer trending topics, no discernible breaking news headlines, can't get as many things like weather etc. with a single click. What's not to love. All improvements right? Who the **** is running this place?

Check out mail.com. It is GREAT!! I have 2 acounts, One free one and one that has NO ADS for only $19.00 for a Year. Such a breath of fresh air for me to go over to that mailbox. You can also paste a picture or image right on the email. You can't do this with yahoo. It's much more enjoyable to use. It's not run by children.

Totally agree with Wyatt. What was wrong with the old format of reading news headlines while looking (and choosing if I wanted) the scrolling carousel along the top? Why, why, why do websites ALWAYS get worse rather than leave well enough alone? This new format is such a mess to read, that I've headed over to Google News. Your advertiser will be glad to hear this!!

I don't even know how I "updated" to this monstrosity, but I am certainly sorry that it occurred. Looks like I need to find a new home page.
