Why has Yahoo abandoned large field (I.e. 50 or 100 player) 50/50’s for “No Veteran” contests? The smaller contest sizes make results much more random and more difficult for DFS players to consistently win. Players that fall under the “No Veterans” label are forced to either enter “pro” contests or enter 10-20 player 50/50’s, both of which drastically reduce a new DFS player’s odds of sustained success.

If the issue is with possible overlay, there is no reason why the initial contests that are created can not be larger field contests, with the field size decreasing as the contests’ start time draws closer.
