Would like to customize and filter flickr backgrounds. Theme selection, highest rated, followed users, or even my flickr favs.
Flickr images that show up as backgrounds seem random. I'd like to see an intuitive menu item that gives these options as a start:
1. Images from photographers you follow.
2. Highest rated (with a selectable theme field: landscape, people, macro, architecture).
3. Editor's picks.Or at least have a "More Like This" button where the search function can learn your image preferences.

The background on your page looks good most of time. However, it is so ugly sometimes that I want to delete it.
If you could not provide nice backgrounds all the time, please choose a simple and nice one like what Google does. I like your news, however, you seem lack of common sense sometimes!

Quick access.
I very much like having these quick access buttons but want more manageability. I want to specify what populates and delete what I do not use.

Change it back. I can't alter it, you have **** on here I never use like WALMART (how many times did they suck your **** for that privileged?) and when I try to set my home page to something else. I CANT!

I would like to be able to add my own site icons
I would like to be able to add my own site icons, remove duplicates icons and remove icons I never use like flikr and tumblr. In other words make it useful for me, not you.

Let us keep our icons, you don't need to add any. (unless WE request them) People don't like bitter pills they are forced to swallow.
program your all buttons as choice, not permanent. Allow more icons than the few you, so far, have available. This does simplify things and is less cluttered. Thank you for your efforts.

I should have freedom to select the sites I want to visit. I should be able to keep the icons of my choice in the new tab.
I should have freedom to select the sites I want to visit. I should have the options to delete icons that is of little or no importance to me. It seems arbitrary that the icons are forced on me. Not acceptable at all. Requesting all unhappy users (of this new tab) to reject / boycott YAHOO! and stick to google, which I suppose is more user friendly.

I just went into my Chrome extensions and found the new "Yahoo for Chrome" all I had to do was uncheck the box and I got my old Google page
