Yahoo used to give us an option to see less of certain publishers, IE: huntington press
We need the option to block certain feeds as we liked. Yahoo took that option away.

closing article or hitting back on home page resets page to top
You recently changed the look and feel of your yahoo home page. One thing you failed to implement is the ability to bring the viewer back to the location of the page where they clicked for the article. When you click an article to read, and then either (x) out or hit back button it resets the page to the top which is very frustrating. You then have to scroll all the way down to look for the article.
Also the new look and feel is horrible.394th ranked -

How about making this new homepage( Dec. 13, 2024) for smartphones and return older version for PCs?
You offered us a chance to try the new homepage layout, I tried it and found it annoying and switched back. The new setup might work well on a smartphone, like tic-tok videos but wastes too much page space for me and some brite fool will soon start using it for advertisements(you had plenty of ads mixed with articles before) Again you have offered change no one among your users requested.

Banned
I've been banned for over a year, no warning, no reason, haven't violated community guidelines.
My latest try (this morning) was "Jesus. Just how many times are you going to post that?" Where does that violate guidelines? Then there's no "Your comment has been rejected" box, no matter how long I stay on that web page. I get an email.
I've had my email address for 25 years. Hecuva way to treat someone who's loyal, by just banning them. If I hadn't had this address so long, I would leave. Thanks for not giving a gorram... (/SARCASM)

I got a security alert from one of your articles. In the options to the right, add a "report scam" option.
In the right-side "3-dot" options list, add an option to report scam articles that trigger "security alerts." You can review the reports yourselves, but it would help you to know where to look. (Not sure quite which category to call this, but if the editors know there is a problem, they can respond quicker.)

Don't fix what is not broke.... return my yahoo
Bring back Choice.... Things were great when you had choices, it is why I CHOSE my yahoo and not MSN etc... Now, just yahoo is shoveling junk, so in trying to be competitive with say oh MSN.... it is a bust...so I guess I need to go to MSN... your new sight is worse than theirs... again.

The new format is glaringly generic and I hate not being able to delete topics about which I Do Not Care.
I want to be able to get rid of topics like Sports, Lifestyle, Celebrities, Entertainment about which I'd have to care some to care less.

Won't give it another thought. Found a better start page So I'm not wasting my time
Yahoo gave me a great, customizable start page that gave me all I needed. Then Yahoo decided that was not what they wanted to offer any longer. Fine. It's been 2 days and I've found better page, even better than the old My Yahoo! It took me one morning to set it up & it was worth it. I chose Protopage which was super easy to customize but there are others as well. Here is an article by Lifewire that gives you suggestions for some options, with Pros & Cons for each: https://www.lifewire.com/top-personalized-start-pages-for-your-web-browser-3486281
