When I click on a Sports story it doesn't mean that I want EVERY STORY in my feed to be a sports story!!!
When I click on a Sports story it doesn't mean that I want EVERY STORY in my feed to be a sports story!!! Is this a new algorithm? I clicked on a news story from a certain news outlet an EVERY OTHER story in my feed was from that news outlet. WHY???

I never use reminders in my Yahoo calendar. Can you make a toggle so I can set that as my default reminder setting?
I never use reminders in my Yahoo calendar. Can you make a toggle so I can set that as my default reminder setting? (So I don't have to select "no reminder" each and every time?
Also, more color options for flags on "Type" label. Yellow, red or green is not enough.

New Home Page is Terrible
The new Homepage that popped up today is absolutely awful. Another poster described it as "bleak" and "barren". That describes it perfectly. I liked simply scrolling down and clicking on what I found interesting to read. Now, you have a tiny little font for the titles and and the body, you get a small general selection off to the right, then you have to scroll down and select categories. It is not an enjoyable experience, and so I will not be using Yahoo for anything accept checking my email.

Contact list sorted by last name
How about this radical new idea? Allow the contact list to be sorted by last name! I'm 75 years old and have never seen a personnell directory sort only by first names. Have you ever heard of a phone book? Everybody had one in their home who had a telephone from about 1920 to 2015. Go to a library and you can actually look at one and see it it totally organized and sorted by LAST name! How about assigning on of your hot shot computer gurus to add a line of code to allow sorting contacts by last name?…

Allow all users who have a yahoo account to customize the homepage. The garbage tabloid articles deter me from using your search.
You will see a huge increase in return users for your search if you remove all the garbage from the homepage. Yandex, Google and Mojeek all show examples of what you should do with your homepage. Yahoo has a great deal of room for improvement, and you can compete if you try. Google search results are much less useful than they were 10 or 15 years ago. Bing is slow. Yandex is doing well in creating a competitive search. Yahoo can be more than a homepage for tabloid garbage to promote idiocy. I can help if you need better ideas.

2 emails other than this one should be good to verify a 20 year old account that is used daily.
Some people do not have a landline phone, many of them using several VOIP to have a phone number. Some older ones only receive calls from doctors offices (1-2%), robot sales calls (70-80%) and rest of them are from con artists. For that a cell phone account is not justified. Please accept a VOIP account, that is better than a throw away cell phone.

5 major edits and this innocuous post is STILL REJECTED??!! WHY??!!!
I hope Roma wins. If they do I wonder if Jose Mourinho will move on again to one of the more "major" clubs or even take a Head Coaching role of a National Team.
WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS POST AFTER I EDITED OUT 2 FORMER PORTUGUES COLONIES/NATIONS, THE WORD "BIGGER", THE ABBREVIATION "PSG", THE NAME "SERIE A" AND PLENTY MORE. WHAT THE **** IS YOUR PROBLEM? JUST STOP CENSORING ALL IT DOES IS MAKE PEOPLE MADDER AND MADDER.
.
Moving to Paris St. Germain has also been rumored, as has staying at Roma & focusing on winning the Italian…

Hello, Yahoo has been my HOME PAGE
Yahoo has been my home page for decades. I rely on the home page to get a quick view of news items. For some time, now you've allowed political advocacy groups to occupy your home page. Organizations like HuffPost and Salon have no place on your home page. You are stirring the pot with endless, negative opinions that have no place on HOME PAGE. Readers deserve to know what is "news" and what is political "commentary." Organizations like "HuffPost" have the right to their opinion, but Yahoo organization often places the "HuffPost" organization front and center on your home page.…

Ugly New Yahoo Page Layout
Yahoo now looks like an amateur's attempt to create a webpage, partly because no differentiation on the appearance of news stories and advertisements makes it look very unprofessional. Unappealing to say the least.

Silly rejection
(*** for tat diplomacy that nobody wins! IMO)
This comment was rejected because of your community guidelines. This is an example of how imperfect algorithms and broad censorship can be harmful and obtrusive to any discussion or comment page. It boggles the mind how this comment could be offensive to anyone! IMO
