Hire more engineers. If you don't have the money, fire some people from marketing or a few MBAs.
Bugs are increasing. Fixes take forever. You new Yahoo Mail, and elimination of My Yahoo make you no better than MSN, provide no utility beyond Microsoft's built in news feed, and no reason to keep using your product. I can't watch any more adds than I'm plagued with now. I may end up just going back to FM radio.

Please allow us to turn off blatantly inflammatory news feeds (E.G. The Telegraph, The Cool Down")
Some of the news feeds you use are blatantly inflammatory, like The telegraph and The Cool Down. Please allow us to turn off such obvious disinformation.

Let us block / ignore news sources we don't want to see!
We used to be able to at least partially block news sources we didn't like and then you took that feature away. Now the homepage is full of bogus sources no one with a brain can trust. Let me ignore them again!

Restricting the comments.
Restricting my comments infringes on my rights of speech and if you keep on trying to be "PC", Elon might buy YOU out and fire all of YOU next!!!!!

Yahoo removed stopping Publishers we don't want. My "NEWS" IS HALF ENTERTAINMENT GOSSIP! uhg!
We used to be able to pick the weight of publishers we want/don't want. And on top of that I scrolled down and half my so called "NEWS" is gossip form entertainment. I RARELY read entertainment "news" except for what shows are cancelled or not. I DON'T care who married who or who took a vacation and where.

Get rid of stupid stories about thicker fuller eyebrows, **** shoes for ugly feet and all that other female appearance neuroses content.
Everyday you all seem to be working so hard to be a chick magazine. That, or the online version of "Teen Magazine" . Before I left to go overseas there was a pretty fair amount of real "news" stories. Now it is nothing but how to have thicker eyebrows, with younger looking hair, eliminating wrinkels on the bottom of ankles, and Kim Kardashian poses in almost nothing to show beach bod abs and toned legs. And people wonder why women don't get respect in the USA. Change the name from Yahoo to "Giggly Chick Emag" or something.

The new format is confusing
You need to send a notification out when formats are changing so users can "know" there is a change being made.....

How about making this new homepage( Dec. 13, 2024) for smartphones and return older version for PCs?
You offered us a chance to try the new homepage layout, I tried it and found it annoying and switched back. The new setup might work well on a smartphone, like tic-tok videos but wastes too much page space for me and some brite fool will soon start using it for advertisements(you had plenty of ads mixed with articles before) Again you have offered change no one among your users requested.

I got a security alert from one of your articles. In the options to the right, add a "report scam" option.
In the right-side "3-dot" options list, add an option to report scam articles that trigger "security alerts." You can review the reports yourselves, but it would help you to know where to look. (Not sure quite which category to call this, but if the editors know there is a problem, they can respond quicker.)

feedback
"Up-voting your own post out of desperation again, eh?" Rejected immediately. Never point out WHAT violated community guidelines.
Went to post it under "feedback" and in the couple of threads I've started on here comments are closed. Apparently you don't want to hear from me AT ALL. Ban me for nothing, then close any comment I make about being banned for nothing. I have to keep opening threads just to say ANYthing.
Helluva way to treat somebody that's been faithfully here for 25 years...

Novel idea. how about entertaining both sides of an issue.
Your heavy-handed skew of all replies and news in general is laughable at best. dangerous and short sighted. Section heading Yahoo news should be changed to "yahoo opinions with zero logical support"

I believe Yahoo believed they needed a change but not being able to taylor your homepage sucks!
Let us users taylor our homepages to fit our needs like we had before! All you offer now is news news news. Then the need to navigate to other stuff we like for instance finance.
