Let users customize there feed
I am so sick and tired of seeing the categories of Celebrity, Style, Entertainment that I am actively looking for some there platform as my primary web home page. I do not want to see what celebrities share and I do not want to see click bait / thirst trap articles featuring women partially clothed. Why am I unable to recover posted comments and replies?
Get rid of OpenWeb as moderator. Stop scanning every comment for those you don't like and stop censoring comments and denying peoples right to freedom of speech. Bring back comments for articles. No reason to visit site otherwise.
Being able to comment on articles and share views with others is essential when using a news site. You have removed the comments. If you are not going to allow comments, expect your traffic to decrease. I know that I and many other commenters will abandon you if you do not return the comment sections.

I've used the Yahoo home page for 22 years. I found it entertaining and quick at catching Breaking News Stories. Today not so much. It's more about redundant junk news and breaking news stories too late.

I have TIRED of seeing a great portion of the main page, endlessly, reporting on the vapid posts, especially, of celebrities or the 15-minutes of "fame" wannabes, about what new swimsuit or, barely, there clothing they are showing-off. I couldn't CARE LESS!
Or, any more stories about which celebrity baby-daddy or baby-momma drama is occurring - ENOUGH!
Get back to doing some stories - even light-hearted or humorous that isn't focused on people starved for attention that they do anything; but, focus on some everyday people or events.
