Repeats
So going through the list of stories on the Yahoo! web page, I've noticed some of the news stories repeated up to 6 times. What the heck? Why? Cleanup your web page from all the clutter!

Regarding email changes
I don't know what you're trying to accomplish on Yahoo email, but I definitely don't like the changes! It is now much more difficult to find emails and their responses because you create a continuous "string" in one email. Any response to an email sent is on that string and now in the sent folder. Are you trying to make things more difficult for users? Go back to the way it was!!!!

Your news feeds lack diversity.
I used to work for Yahoo in a position of leadership. News feeds and content were often a topic of discussion. In a discussion with Jerry Yang the topic of moderating real and fake content came up. Jerry said it was a good idea but who do you get to moderate? His feeling is that whoever is moderating the content will always have some sort of bias. Marissa Myer also feared that the news feeds were becoming too left. I can say that her fear is confirmed. Since this election year started, my feeds have been overflowing with hit articles…

Is there a reason why Yahoo is now publishing so many articles by Fox? We need some balance on the homepage.
Fox has eliminated most of their fact checking personnel, Yahoo should eliminate Fox or at least limit them.

Bad new 'home page'...
Sirs ~
You have curiously not asked us however here is my bit; no, I do NOT like the appearance of the new home page. It is barren and bleak. One needs to go to another whole new page simply to find - pick one - weather, say.
Please return the original.

Annual Subscription for Yahoo Mail Plus
I would be more inclined to subscribe to Yahoo Mail Plus if you had the option to subscribe for the full year instead of having to worry about a month to month payment.

Let us opt out of opinion articles...
Please let us opt out of the "Opinion" articles in the news feeds. This morning 3 out of the top 10 were all opinion. 90% of the time these articles lack credibility, and are one sided political hit pieces.

News content
Please include news that goes against your own agendas - much of the news is often omitted or construed to push your own beliefs on others. Just report. Give us some headlines. ALL of us. Let us think for ourselves. Stop being a guilty party :(

Is there an option to hide the pride month bar that's being forced upon us?
There should be an option to hide material that doesn't interest us.

Comment section changed
Dear Yahoo,
Something has changed in your comment section that is very frustrating and I know I am not the only one. Recently it seems that your algorithm has changed so that only highly commented or rated comments get seen and rated. I have noticed that if I submit a comment, leave and then come back ten minutes later to search for my comment, that comment has dropped dramatically in the stack without a thumbs up or down, just like all the comments above and below mine. So it seems that Yahoo wants to be seen as hosting popular conversations…722nd ranked -

Empower users to choose what they see
Give us categories of content to choose from rather than forcing content in our faces. If you are truly interested in feedback do not bury the option at the bottom of the page. The new site design is all the worst traits that digital media has become. What trends is influenced by what you spotlight. Too many people are influenced by what you spotlight. What you spotlight makes you seems like an arm of the far right and is what you profit from.
