Comment section changed
Dear Yahoo,
Something has changed in your comment section that is very frustrating and I know I am not the only one. Recently it seems that your algorithm has changed so that only highly commented or rated comments get seen and rated. I have noticed that if I submit a comment, leave and then come back ten minutes later to search for my comment, that comment has dropped dramatically in the stack without a thumbs up or down, just like all the comments above and below mine. So it seems that Yahoo wants to be seen as hosting popular conversations…753rd ranked -
Why the new format? Stop trying to reinvent the wheel and make your stuff functional. Listen to the consumers you want to have.
listen to your customers. Why do I have to sign in 3 times on my cell. 1 sign in should cover, mail, news, comments, feedback, everything. Why are you pushing ads and info on people they don't want? I should never see anything about sports, ever. editing people because they have the word af in their comments? Ridiculous, it's a misspell, not a violation of your standards. People are abandoning companies left and right, your audience is yours to lose. I hhope you listen to us.

Why does the search function for email, to be blunt, suck so bad? I get literally hundreds of bad results.
As an example, I put "All State" as the search word and the results excluded hardly anything, while NOT including some emails I actually received from All State. So, for ages now, I usually don't even bother to do a search and just tediously scroll to find what I'm looking for. Strangely, the search function in drafts works much better. On an unrelated topic, why am I asked to sign in here when I'm already signed in??

I am not happy with Yahoo and how they are so one sided. Why pick on one person, Trump and praise Harris for all the bad she has done.
Treat everyone the same. Tired of Yahoo being so one way!!!!

OpenWeb is anti 1st ammendment. Find a better moderator.
OpenWed censors responses to articles. We understand community guidelines for civility, but OpenWeb will reject comments even when using a direct quote from the article. Hey Yahoo, find a new moderator.

New Website
Can you please anchor your web pages on the new site??
Hint: An anchor tag, or anchor link, is a web page element that links to another location on the same page. They are typically used for long or text-heavy pages so that visitors can jump to a specific part of the page without having to scroll as much

Why does the news media keep publishing that Social Security is going to run out of money when we do not hear about welfare or foreign aide.

Comments section is extremely frustrating and almost impossible to engage with
Why let people respond to each others' comments if you make it impossible to link back to the conversation?? If you want people to engage with comments, you should make it extremely easy for them to get back to their comments to see and to perpetuate that engagement.

I suggest you shut Yahoo down. It has become worthless. I can never post a comment, and applies to many others. I'm placing a block on Yahoo
My idea is for Yahoo to be shut down because it has become worthless as I can never post a comment. On doing a search, I see that this applies to many others but no reason is given for shutting us out. So from today I am placing a block on Yahoo so that links from other sites will not open Yahoo up. Either give us back the ability to comment, or remove comments altogether.

Why bother to offer option to supress certain ads if you are only going to repeatedly show them again, and again...
