  2. How about going back to letting users pick their own news outlets

I've been using Yahoo as my brower for many, many years. Although you are left-leaning, the former structure let users customize their chosen news outlets. Since taking that choice away, whenever I need to search for anything political, my choices are directed to sites such as MSNBC, NPR, APnews, NYTimes, CNN (you get the picture). The first non left-leaning site (Redsate) didn't show up until page 3 - Fox News didn't show up at all, or if it did, it was so far down that it wasn't worth looking for it. While I still use Yahoo to search for things…

  3. Feedback

"So you ignore that Musk has access to the entire Treasury payment system? Bet your information is there..."

Why would that be rejected? And it's funny, all my posts are rejected, but show up when you click my avatar. This has been going on for a year. But, despite my protests, I'm still banned.

    You guys are bigly sad...

  4. Inconsistent Categorization: Kamala Harris Criticism in Opinion, Trump in Politics

Yahoo's homepage tends to categorize critical news about Kamala Harris under "Opinion," while similar criticism of Donald Trump is placed under "Politics." This inconsistency creates a perception of bias, framing Kamala's critiques as subjective while treating Trump's criticisms as more factual or politically relevant. A more balanced and consistent approach would enhance fairness in news presentation.

  6. Yahoo! News Feed is Worthless

Why is the Yahoo! news feed filled with celebrity drivel interspersed with Fox Lies. I suspect this is revenge for not allowing them to track my usage. I'm currently moving my email account to another provider. I urge others to do likewise. There is only so much slop someone can take. I've given up on Yahoo!. They have become nothing more than a gossip rag.

  10. Stop the biased ****!

Stop the biased ads! Shame on you for politicizing and discriminating against your users. What your corporation does politically, donate, what ever: do that privately! This world is in trouble and trying to influence voters is not your right! Shame on you!

  11. I never thought Yahoo news would go lower than CNN and try to compete with MSDNC, but here we are

It's starting to spread a little to the financial segment. I had a perfectly factual comment censored today with NO explanation as to why.

  12. Yahoo News must be on the GOP payroll!! Most times it reads like one of Trump's incoherent rants. This is all opinion oriented GOP junk.

Yahoo News must be on the GOP payroll!! Most times it reads like one of Trump's incoherent rants. This is all opinion-oriented GOP junk. All politicians lie. That said, Trump still holds the world record for lying according to every single fact check organization. His "alternative facts", vague concepts, name calling, bullying, and raging take first prize. Character counts! We don't hear about actual policy anymore. It's all about the cult of personality and grievance. Be careful what you wish for people.

  13. Quit posting all media "opinions"

I used to go to the news to find out about how the candidates stand on the issues, and what the issues really are. I wish to vote educated. Now all I see on this yahoo platform is which media outlet can bash a candidate the best! No attention to the nations issues at all! And you wonder why people don't trust the media????

  14. inappropriate imagery

Don't use racially demeaning images on your home page as there is one today (Aug 6, 2024). It shows an angry South Asian man and it is a picture that is meant to be comical or invite contempt.

  15. I'm sick and tired of your ****** site posting articles about a picture or video or something. But the article not containing said picture

If you can't ******* put the picture or video in article that it's headline tells you to look at it. Quit and find a job you can actually do.

  18. Misleading headlines

If your writers list a story in the headline of your daily newsletter, actually have an article about that in the newsletter. Otherwise it's just clickbait.

  20. Education for Editors

BBC’s Clive Myrie reacts to Huw Edwards’ resignation

Please tell Lily Waddell that the expression is to change tack, not tact. It is a sailing term meaning to change direction, which is what Richard Madeley did.
