2. Best Buy marks GE Washer for $50 for President's Day sale, save $859, and then cancels and refuses to honor 800 customer purchases

   Today, 2/6/2020, Best Buy marked a GE Washer on sale for $50 for their Presidents Day Sale and their website clearly stated save $859. 800+ customers purchased the washer online before 10:00am and Best Buy canceled all 800 orders within the next 2hrs and refused to honor the purchases due to their company error.

   Since Donald Trump announced his intention to run for the White House on June 16, 2015, many of the entrenched elites across the various power centers of Washington and beyond have spent many of their waking hours trying to stop or unseat him.
   Over the past week, I have heard from seven Republicans who fear that President Trump and the West Wing are seriously underestimating the potential danger of a Senate trial. Human nature and common sense dictate that, it's important for the White House to understand that the weight of history is settling upon the shoulders of these senators and private conversations are taking place and a trap may be sprung for the president in that trial.
   A potential trap set by seemingly loyal Republican senators and remove a president a many of them openly or privately dislike?
   There is growing animosity about Trump by many in the GOP establishment, and there very well may be enough Republican senators willing to topple the first domino and set in motion a chain reaction.
   In a speech to the American Enterprise Institute in October, former governor and U.S. Ambassador Nikki Haley put her finger on the greater issue, saying in part, “President Trump is a disruptor. That makes some people very happy, and it makes some people very mad. ... When I was in the administration, I served alongside colleagues who believed the best thing to do for America was to undermine and obstruct Donald Trump. Some wrote about it anonymously in The New York Times. Others just did it.”
   She is correct, but does all of this go beyond Trump being a disruptor? As we have witnessed, Trump is being opposed, called out and undermined through leaks by multiple anonymous and named sources from the “deep state,” his own National Security Council, former White House staff, former and current Pentagon, State Department and diplomatic officials, members of Congress and their staffs, and basically every other agency within the federal government.
   For Trump to be convicted in a Senate trial, 20 Republican senators would have to join forces with the 47 Democrats. We should not worry about those who openly dislike Trump, such as Sens. Mitt Romney (R-Utah), Susan Collins (R-Maine) or Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska); we should worry about those in the purple states, who face tough reelection fights in 2020, and those who have continually criticized and demeaned the president in private.
   
   Further, it is an open secret that there are More US senators like Mike Pence than Donald Trump both
   In public and private.
   As we all know when it comes to Donald Trump, you can throw conventional wisdom right out the window.

6. Stop covering up my email with what's Trending On Yahoo Home Page. EVERY TIME I click on it the three stories highlighted are NOT there

   It's clear you are NOT listening. Either do something or stop pretending. Every time I access my email it is blocked with a popup of what's trending on the Yahoo Home Page. I've repeatedly clicked on these stories and I am NOT taken directly to the story! I'm taken to the home page which has NONE of the three "trending" stories even listed anywhere. This is ridiculous. Get rid of that useless popup! I'm also fed up with clicking on requesting to see less from a specific "news" site and there is literally no change to how often that site is on my home page. You're clearly not listening to that common complaint either and pretending you have no clue what we're talking about.

10. Bring back Yahoo! Maps

    They were my go-to for estimating travel distance, often providing a more accurate time (and route!) than MapQuest (which has a terrible user experience) or even AAA. I also used Yahoo Maps often for seeing where a business is located, if I have the address but not the major intersection nearby. Lastly, in my work I have customers all over the country, and I would use Yahoo! Maps to identify the nearest large city or how far apart they were from one another.
    Please, bring it back!

    how about you act as a platform and stop interfering in the expressed opinions of people. yes this means you might have to see something posted you don't like.. that's the real world. You force us to see your opinions, many that we disagree with, by the news stories and opinions you choose to present.     If Yahoo! cared AT ALL about the US, comments would be disabled on news stories. It's a breeding ground for hate, only. There is never any productive discussion. Is THIS what you guys wanted for your site? Because Yahoo! is used as a portal site for so many, users from all demographics are thrown together. Did you really think that you were providing a "safe space" for people with differing philosophies to come together and find some common ground? Quite the contrary. Yahoo! has done nothing but provide multiple battlegrounds that are (intentionally or unintentionally) designed to encourage and foster an online environment of conflict and dissemination of conspiracy theories. I've loved Yahoo! since the earliest of days, back in 1994 when it led the way in human-managed directories before search engines were even a thing. Now, it's just a "front page" for the Internet where people come to hurl hate and insults at each other.

    If Yahoo! cares AT ALL about the USA, you will consider removing the comments sections from the news stories.

    I hope you have the courage to at least consider it.

15. Headline Suggestion at Christmas

    For the next 48 hours, how about a headline on Yahoo that revolves around Christmas theme, Santa Clause tracker, or some other similar positive and seasonal message. As opposed to the Trump *** and Pregnancy discrimination headline (and similar) that is currently running. Would be good to see Yahoo rise above the negative news fray, even if only for 1-2 days at Christmas time.
