5. Request Yahoo to Remove Misleading Auto-Complete Suggestion: “Influence of anisotropy on friction estimated by the ring test”

   Dear Yahoo Customer Support,

   I am writing to request the removal of the auto-complete suggestion “Influence of anisotropy on friction estimated by the ring test” when typing “influence of anisotropy on …” in Yahoo search, see attached screenshot below. This suggestion is misleading and incorrect from an academic standpoint, and risks spreading a wrong concept globally.

   To clarify, the title contains two separate issues:

   1. “Friction estimated by the ring test” is incorrect.

   The ring compression test is designed as a material flow study, not a friction measurement test.

   No transducers are used to directly measure friction. Instead, the test evaluates the inner diameter of the deformed ring, which can be applied to estimate friction parameters (such as friction coefficients or friction factors) through calibration curves.

   Friction itself is a variable, determined by the friction coefficient and normal loading.

   1. “Influence of anisotropy on friction” is incorrect.

   Anisotropic material flow is governed by yield criteria in addition to frictional conditions. Even under identical frictional conditions, ring flow differs between anisotropic and isotropic materials.

   While anisotropy may cause variations in frictional shear stress distribution on the die/bullet surface, the friction acting toward the centre of the ring remains the same in all directions. If one direction experiences lower friction, the ring will continue to flow until a new balance is reached.

   Therefore, the concept of “influence of anisotropy on friction” in the ring test is fundamentally incorrect.

   For these reasons, I respectfully request that Yahoo remove this auto-complete suggestion to prevent the dissemination of misleading academic concept.

13. Disappointed Yahoo mail screen appearance

    The new Yahoo Mail screen appearance is not user-friendly and very hard to use. Moreover, I cannot read the mail completely, as some parts of the mail do not show on the screen, and it cannot be dragged by the mouse to view it on the screen.
    I think this new look is a headache for me.
    Therefore, I need to change this appearance to the previous mode very soon.

17. Very bad customer car

    After 20 years with I can't describe with words how bad was help given from customer care when I was trying to recover my account due to double verification which I didn't enabled. Every messagge different person, copy paste messagges, recovery questions that even God hasn't the answer. Yahoo account never again. NEVER AGAIN!

    Your moderation system with OpenWeb is broken. It rejects completely relevant posts that follow community guidelines and allows toxic and dangerous posts. I've had a Yahoo account for over 20 years. If this doesn't get fixed it's time for me to delete.

19. Not to delete ALL MY MAIL! Or at least send me an reminder before you do so!

    You've deleted all mail! This was my first ever mailadres. It was linked to numerous accounts but more important, it was filled with contacts, info and history of all fases and memories of my life.

    I know what you're going to say, its all gone after a year of not logging in, deleted from the server and gone for good. But the least you could've done was send me an reminder on my phone number or other mailadresses, which you have because that is how I logged in.

    This sucks! Yahoo sucks! I'm ******. Thanks for not caring at all...
