Timing is everything, WHY pull the comments now?
Why pull the comments NOW? With everything going on Nation Wide plus less than 5 months to and election it seems that someone wants to stop the people from talking about these events. WHY? I tried to vote on the comment removal and it already said I voted, when I never entered a vote. This is incorrect. I will use another news service for the foreseeable future. The voting was on the comments and I wanted the comments re-instated. It provides a balance to the news story and gives perspective, something that is sorely lacking in the world today. I've enjoyed you for several years but removing comments removes freedom of speech.

If you want to stiffull free speech by disabling comments your web site like youtube, the Columbus dispatch and others that disagree with your thinking your site should be shut down as anti-American and subversive with sedition as as the final finding. Only way to get the true story, "COMMENTS"
Bring the comments back please only way to see the true videos of the articles. Yahoo don't do true videos, would like to hear what they say. Not just music playing and have to read the video. I don't need closed caption. I can hear just fine.

Censorship
With the quality of the 'stories' you've been running since killing the comments is in serious decline. Full of lies and inaccuracies that you now refuse to allow users to correct, I can understand why you did it. I think comments were running 99 to 1 against the bs you post and poor little 'progressives' just can't take any criticism...even when it's warranted.

Without comments, Yahoo is boring for me. I can read the news somewhere else. Current news and not 3 days old news. I receive my emails from another very good provider anyway. Yahoo only had so many users because of the comments. Return the comment function, or Yahoo will soon be very lonely.
