The new homepage stinks.
First you change the homepage on my phone. Now you change it on my computer. Stop trying to be avant-garde. You're just hurting your company. I implore you to change the homepage back. I always used Yahoo as my search engine. If I had free time, I would just sit and mindlessly browse the news. Now I can't do that. I guess, for now, I'm switching to Google. At least they care enough about their consumers to keep the same homepage. Also, if you'll notice, I've already changed my email provider to gmail. I hope you're prepared to lost a lot of money.

Can't hardly access comment section anymore because of new format of the articles. I have signed up with Disqus, Gawker, the Washington Post and US News and World report. If I can't interact I might as well be reading a newspaper. Fox News is next...

Horrible format!!! No Health, no Local news. I'd like to know who is responsible for this mess. No wonder the company is going down in flames. I would like to blame Marrisa Mayer for this and add it to the list of reasons Yahoo needs to fire her.

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE FORMAT CHANGE!!
What is wrong with the idiots in the Yahoo corner offices?
You don't have readers and commenters because of your advertisers and marketing staff; you have advertisers and marketing staff because of your readers and commenters!
Try to remember that!

do not like format...
Also can not read any comments I post. I'm able to look at
the View but that's it right now.
Also can not read others comments when I click " more comments"... What's Up? -

The new home page is chaotic and creates a sensory overload. It is covered with too many pictures and links that are thrown in everywhere. I will have to go somewhere else for my news!
No wonder your company is struggling! Keep it clean, keep it simple, do not overwhelm, offer news of the day (today preferably) in some sort of order and do not make "suggestions" based on what I click on. I am not here to browse the web, I am here to get the news.
Bye-Bye Yahoo News, Hello MSNBC (Reuters, AP News.....anything that actually has news on their news feed)

This is what happens when people who don't use their own site are put in charge of remaking it. There was no reason for this change. None. Some corporate dolt who never uses the site came up with this hideousness. The comment boards worked perfectly, now they are a shadow of their former selves and cumbersome to use without even the ability to see one's own comments later. This is design-by-committee run amuck.

Finally. At last, I'm done using Yahoo news. I just can't take this GODAWFUL NEW SETUP.
I want to see MY COMMENTS, so I can see how people respond.
I want my news sortable by source--ALL sources.
I want to be able to see comments in order newest to oldest and back again.
GET RID OF THE TOP BAR ON ALL THE PAGES! (I already have one from my browser. Keep this up, and we wont be able to see the page!)
Get the stupid sponsored stuff OUT OF MY NEWS. I want to see news, not some idiotic 'top 27' or clickbait.
The reason people loved Yahoo from way back when was that it was SIMPLE. Not a lot of bells and whistles, but SIMPLE. Easy to sort. Easy to read. Didn't lock up all the time. Could comment and see/sort those.
GET YOUR HEAD OUT OF YOUR TECH and get back to SIMPLE, willya?

I am absolutely done with this garbage site. You have, probably intentionally, made sifting through what once was an organized site, into a complete time wasting travesty geared towards short-attention-spanned technologically dependent people who are willing to click on something shiny because it's mixed with the news. The last stand for me was taking away the local news. Good luck.

I'm frustrated that I can no longer review my own comments. I also used the "sort by oldest" function, which has disappeared too. The new design has so much white space that it's hard to look at al the font looks like it was made for a nursing home. I appreciate that these features make it easier to view on a phone screen, but please leave us a normal desktop version.

Absolutely correct!!! Yahoo has taken away almost everything it's users enjoyed and expect them to be elated with their changes!! Put everything back you have taken away or eventually no-one will use your useless site!!!

And now you've destroyed all the news pages....good job. Now they're nothing but a godawful white, large-print mess with comment boards you can't even check for your own posts on.

Yahoo has loaded so many pop ups you can't ever read anything fully, truly one of the worst sites to be on these days, Google news is so much better and easier to view

I really DISLIKE the new format. I am looking elsewhere for news/information/entertainment. I already have a Google email address that I have started to use to avoid coming to Yahoo. Yahoo use to be good, now scrolling down you see some of the same stories for weeks, others you see 5-6 times as you scroll down the page. If I did not want to read the story the first time I scrolled past, I don't want to read it the 2nd or 3rd or 4th or the 5th time I scroll by. Fix it or goodbye to me.
