I do not need a banner to "click here" to see unwanted and annoying videos. I have done everything I can to stop unwanted videos.
Put a box to click to disable the annoying videos in the news articles. I can read and do not need the distraction nor do I need a talking head spoon feeding me. I know Yahoo has lowered standards, but some of us still read! Let us opt out of the video ****

When Comments were made--and replies were posted to it---one used to be able to click on "My Comments" or "Notifications" to see those responses. "My Comments" has now disappeared and if you click Notifications to go there--you can't anymore. The story comes up---maybe---but it no longer finds your comment so you can read replies. And you are not allowed to scroll past page #1 of the comments to manually find your comment to read the replies. The more "Improvements" you make to Yahoo----the worse it gets.

Now you get to read one paragraph then click to see more? If you have a slow server it takes 2-3 times as long to read one story. Also why is it you can't see ALL the headlines now unless you open one story-then 4 more open up under it. If one story don't interest you--you miss 4 more that might. Your "improvements" stink.

I'm just trying to find a simple way to get some online support. My problem isn't a major one, but it's really annoying!

Every month I read how much money Yahoo is making, but your story quality is horrible. Most often headlines don't match with storylines. If you are going to be using material from other sources, the least you could do is make sure the quality of the original is something you can be proud of.

The "read more" for a story is a complete ******* waste!....put the story and forget the "read more" button---what idiot comes up with this ****?

The way you guys recently changed the way a story comes up halfway is horrible. Its more work than needed to read a story.
1. I click on a story on the Yahoo homepage.
2. A little portion of the story comes up.
3. I have to click again to read what I originally wanted to read.
4. A new window opens to allow me to read what I already chose.
5. I am done reading the story.
6. I close the story's window.
7. I go back to the small portion on the previous window's story I clicked on.
8. I have to close that small portion to get back to the Yahoo Homepage.I am very partial to Yahoo and this is making it too difficult for us to read a story. So much **** clicking and extra windows opening; it's redundant. You guys tried too hard to perfect the wheel that you created more work for the readers. I bet this was the idea of a person really high in Yahoo and the rest are afraid to tell him/her the idea was horrible from the beginning. lol. Either way, please fix it.
Please go back to the simple way and just open one complete window for the entire story I want to read. Thanks. -

Please revert back to the old way of reading articles...one click takes me to the full article. Having to click to "read more" is absurd.

I think I hit a lot of topics about animals but it seems you are targeting me more with animal subjects. Some of these are disturbing and I want to be left alone with what subjects are given to me...I am getting more and more animal topics daily. I already advocate for animals and have looked and read more about cruelty than most...how can my home page look more normal?

Thousands of us have complained about your new new layout but you don't care. You suck!
We hate having to constantly click READ MORE to read a complete article. We realize you are in financial trouble so you need more ad revenue but you are just driving people away BY NOT LISTENING!

I've already read the 'teaser' and chosen to click the link to read the full article, I don't want to have to click "Read More" after half a paragraph of the story. And then it opens in a whole new tab, which means I can't just click 'back' to get back to Yahoo, I have to close that tab and click back on the previous tab.

Get rid of the redundant "read more" button that appears after I click on an article. If I click on an article I want to read it!

I had them blocked on the old layout and now I can't seem to stop seeing them. I am seriously considering switching to msn simply because it is more news and less gossip.

I should have to click only once to access an article. Likewise, when I exit the article, I shouldn't have to click 'x' to get rid of it. Who thinks these new changes are an improvement??? Not I.

The preview popup after clicking a news story barely contains more than the byline! In mobile there's often LESS content in the first click results than in the byline itself! WTH? Your apps & website are bordering on absolutely useless.

You should only have to click once to read an item you interested in. Clicking on something only to have to click on "more" to actually read the item is annoying. I now do most of my news reading on google news. Goodby yahoo.

the change from the old format to whatever you call this one is a dismal change. and then to add insult to injury, the infamous "click to read more". have even found where there are AGAIN "click" to read more. Yahoo has really screwed this thing up.
