Great minds discuss ideas;
average minds discuss events;
small minds discuss people.

Enough of this topic and Olivia Jade or what her name is.

Try hiring real writers and editors, unless you really want to be known as the "news" source who uses celebrities to tell us what's going on.

I would appreciate the ability to control the topics, news sources and even categories. I dislike the Celebrity and Gossips topic. If controls were in place, I would completely choose to dismiss the entire category from my feed. When I comes to important topics, I wouldn't mind additional sources on a certain topics. It allows the user to more informed and they could do their own research.

Sick and tired. Sick and tired of celebrity news. Sick and tired of entertainment news. Sick and tired of style news. Those subjects are 75 percent of my Yahoo newsfeed. No matter how many times I press the see less option...they keep coming back over and over and over again. I see so many complaints from so many of your users over this same exact problem. I have complained to Yahoo so many times over this. I am at my last straw.

All of these comments are saying the same thing, Yahoo! We want to be able to make Yahoo "My Yahoo" as advertised. This means I want no more Karsdashians and no more celebrity news. Despite NUMEROUS attempts to take this from my feed, it is there every day, regardless of what I do. Why offer the choice to limit content if you do nothing about it?????

Like others who have commented, I have selected "show less" celebrity news, etc. (I DO NOT care about the Kardashians!), but Yahoo still delivers all of this useless info to my home page. What is the purpose of asking for my preferences if Yahoo chooses not to consider them?

I keep hitting show less, but every other story is still "Celebrity News". I am NOT interested, but if I want to use Yahoo you are forcing this stuff onto my page.

I would think a "Content Filter", like AdBlock gives us, would not only be beneficial to viewers, but it would also be advantageous to Yahoo to spot what trends and topics are dying. With a simple filter, a user could add words they mo longer want to see content or pictures with that word in the title. For instance, I add the word "Markle" to the filter, and bam, no more trash about the British Royals. Of course, the first word going in to the filter for me would actually be the name of that publicity-drunk "K" family whose name I even refuse to write out, so you could even include their name as the default first-filtered item.

Yahoo needs to keep 'celebrity' and 'style' articles off the home page and put it under the entertainment section. Yahoo did put a way to supposedly show less from such and such site but every site I have clicked on to show LESS of now shows MORE of !! Also I opted out of the extreme left wing Huff Post ( which I still get on my homepage anyway ) AND when I click on another news 'source' with a different headline there is a note at the bottom of the page saying 'This article originally appeared on Huff Post' ! Thus Yahoo is finding ways to expose readers to their, in my opinion, left wing anti U.S. Constitution commie articles even after you opt out !

Day after day after day, we're deluged with "oh how I hate Trump" articles- you NEVER would have allowed anything of the sort to continue if the topic was Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton.

Why does Yahoo force celebrity news down my throat, how about letting me choose to see news about current events or science or even sports. EVRY single day all I see is nonsense about Kim. I will leave Yahoo over this matter unless something changes quickly.

Attention yahoo, you say that you are listening to the people and comments posted here but I seriously doubt it cause if you did, there would be a lot less far-left media propaganda on this site.
