I agree 100 percent with Christopher's comment of 3/3/19. I have clicked on "show less of Cosmo" about 1,000 times, and would prefer never to see Cosmo, Elle, or GQ ever again. But there it is, right at the top. Why doesn't Yahoo separate their news from their fashion and celebrity sections?

Every article I mark to see less are the ones that show up first on my feed. Not even just articles from the same publisher (which show up all over the feed too), but THE EXACT ARTICLES I DON'T WANT TO SEE. I DON'T CARE ABOUT THE KARDASHIANS, MEGAN MARKLE, ABOUT WHO'S WEARING WHAT CLOTHES OR SHOES, ABOUT HOW TO APPLY MAKEUP, OR TEEN IDOLS STARS. FIX THIS FEATURE OR REMOVE IT COMPLETELY SO USERS AREN'T FOOLED INTO THINKING YOU CARE ABOUT TAILORING THEIR EXPERIENCES.

Managing publishers panel that lists all of the sites that a user wants to see less of is limited to 20. If you add any new ones, the 20 are in jeopardy of moving back to being able to see them all the time. Where does it say that a user only gets to have 20 publishers listed? Another cheating way by Yahoo to keep their liberal **** flowing to its users!

And yet Yahoo has the time to merge "like items" like problems with their "manage publishers" and still can't fix the problem that they created which is worthless. Has any of the illustrious programmers ever think to sign on as a normal user and not one with extended rights? Today since the "manage publishers" fixture was added, I once again requested less from Huff Post because it shows that I haven't selected Huff Post to see less! Hire somebody that can fix the problem!!

Please, I am begging you not to show me asinine articles from Teen Vogue, Vogue, Cosmo, Esquire, all that garbage. Please fix the "show less" feature so that it actually works. Or start another site for people who want to read all the stupid celebrity news and all about such fascinating (hahah) information such as how to put your makeup on or what shoes are popular.

Yahoo merges problems and YET THE PROBLEMS WITH THEIR SYSTEM STILL DOESN'T WORK! How many Yahoo engineers does it take to fix a problem they created....1200....1199 to merge which does nothing to fix the problem and 1 person overwhelmed by the idiots that made the problem!

This feature is a waste of time as it only shows less for one browsing session. God, how I wish I never had to see another article from Elle, Cosmo, etc., all that trashy **** with the Kardashians, and the lefty-lefty sites like Huffpo and Esquire. If Yahoo really wanted to be balanced, they might throw in an article from The American Interest or Quillette once in a while.

Huff Post still appears every day as if I didn't select it to see less of! How long does it take for you to fix a problem that should have never happened in the first place! Seems your testing of a new product is severely lacking or non-existent!

Around 10 to 12 Huff Post's show up every day. Some shows that I have requested less but every day there are two or three that I have to select again. Why? I still get the same amount every day...your "manage pulbishers" sucks!

It has now been a month since your product team began investigating this issue. There has been no mention of how that investigation is going, let alone a fix for the error. I am sure the algorithm is not so complex that this is such a difficult and lengthy process. FIX THIS ALREADY!

I was thrilled that we were finally given an option to chose what articles/type of articles that we see (or not see) on our newsfeeds. This was until I realized that the show less feature doesn't really work. For one, you can choose to see less from a publisher...but it resets daily and you have to reselect which publishers that you don't want to see every day. Second, it is a choice to only see less...instead of not seeing that publisher at all. You can click on the see less from a publisher on only one article on a newsfeed, but cannot remove all the articles from that publisher. I miss the days when Yahoo allowed you to chose what type articles you wanted to see on your newsfeed. If you didn't want to see celebrity news, or politics, or whatever...you could remove those things from the list of topics provided. I will never understand why Yahoo got away from that. I used to enjoy my Yahoo newsfeed. Honestly, I could go the rest of my life without seeing another article on the Kardashians, or the Royal Family, or whatever the new trend in fashion is. This isn't the 1st time that I have left feedback on the topics that you feature, but all those cases were closed recently...but nothing has changed. We were given a resolution that doesn't work. Please, some of us have brains and would like some articles that stimulate said brains. Thank you.

STOP IT! The option of blocking a feed source seems to last only as long as you don't change pages - then, they're right back! I'd think your programming algorithms are sophisticated enough by my blocking to determine I hate seeing anything to do with AOC, yet every time I go to Homepage, there she is again! You're irritating the **** out of me! STOP!

@Pete G - Did anybody here ask for your opinion? Toss off. Also I would note that this topic has now gone up to 36th on the list, so you can take your minority opinion and shove it.

This really is ridiculous. It has been MONTHS that people have been complaining that this feature does not work and there has been no resolution. The entire website could have been recreated in this time. I don't care about Cosmo, Who What Wear, Elle, Teen Vogue, etc. When I mark that I don't want to see these sites, it means I DO NOT WANT TO SEE THESE SITES. I DO NOT WANT MY FEED FLOODED WITH MORE NONSENSE ARTICLES FROM THESE SITES.

The "feedback team" lies and say you can limit far left sources, but I followed their steps and still keep getting inundated with Huffington Post and MSNBC articles. Shame.

I detest certain web sites and would prefer to see NOTHING from them. I'm here for news, not idiocy. But every time I click on "Show less from ***," the same stupid, banal, biased, and utterly boring content still appears. I want to completely eliminate those web sites from appearing in my news feed on Yahoo, and yet there they are, day after day. Please God, no more Cosmo, no more Esquire, and above all please reduce the biased Huffpo commentary from your front page. Thank you for reading this, and if anyone actually acts on it I will eat a hat.

Well, let's see....I remove Huff Post in its variety of forms every single day and yet when I look to see if it is still added to my Publisher Preference, it's not there. First, "Publisher Preference" is incorrectly labeled....it should be "Banned Publishers"! None of the "publishers" on the "preference" are ones that I want to see so they are not a PREFERENCE! When I remove the first Huff Post article, and as I look at later articles, I have to remove it again! And then the next day it starts all over again! Get your friggin' "smart?" engineers on this problem! How can you tout a program that is so full of inadequacies and errors as a fix to a problem! As users, we know you have sucked on a fix once again!
