removing publisher feature does not work
Your removing publisher feature does not work. You closed all comments but your feature does not work!!!
Hi,
Our product team has investigated and has resolved the issue. The Show less feature should now work as expected.

Homepage Support

How about you actually show less news from sources where I clicked "show less"?

Yahoo is either a bunch of liars or a bunch of incompetent dolts. Probably both.

It is kind of like the kid mode on your cell phone, they put in buttons that you can push to feel like you are doing something but really does nothing!

Thanks for bringing back the "show less from this source" feature. Now make it work instead of pretending it does and closing all of the feedback related to this farce. "Our product team has added a feature that will allow you to remove publishers like the Huffington Post from appearing on your Yahoo Homepage Newsfeed." Wrong. This feature was restored from a few years ago. And it didn't really work then. It doesn't remove sources. These sources don't even show up less. There is no change. Your "closed" statement is blatant misleading information, as is the promise that these sources will show up less in one's so-called "news"feed. Yahoo should be embarrassed if it wasn't so Yahoo-like.

I like your idea of allowing us to decide what news or rather so called news organizations that we see. However, I am still seeing them. How about second option that allows us to show even less of fake news. Or better still give the option of not seeing any fake news. Thumbs Up Yahoo!

A couple of days ago, you began to allow readers to filter out articles and sources from your news. That is a great idea if you will keep that function and allow it to work. I noticed that I had to sign in to keep my selections, which I did. Upon returning to yahoo news today, I see that nothing has changed and that function was gone. Since the modern news is riddled with misleading accusatory stretches, falsehoods and click-bait (and Yahoo news sponsors or owns a great many of them), I am very particular in choosing the stories I actually read and the sources from which they come. Without the ability to filter out fake news, I will continue to avoid Yahoo news. Flipboard destroys Yahoo by making those functions available. Yahoo "News" is just bothersome

You closed this out incorrectly. You added and option to "show less" and that is basically just a button that does nothing. It's like kid mode on a cell phone, a button to play with that makes someone feel like something is happening. The request was to be able to block news sources, add it!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey Yahoo, you have loudly proclaimed that we can now choose to "see less" of publishers we indicate on our homepage, such as HuffPost. Problem is, despite my efforts to flag publishers I don't want to see, my homepage/timeline is still chock full of stories from the publishers I flagged as not wanting to see. So basically you're just trolling us now, right?
