If you don't stop all of these ads for ad blockers bombarding my screen, I am leaving Yahoo for good.
I have been a loyal Yahoo user since the 1990's, but it if you don't stop all of the ads for ad blockers bombarding my screen, I am leaving Yahoo for good.

I've been using Yahoo's email for decades and I refuse to be forced to pay for the service--especially since AOL did the same thing to its paying subscribers some 15 years ago (for a while, the emails didn't have any ads but, then, suddenly, AOL started putting ads IN the emails as well as having ads popping up all around the inbox--when I complained about it, those ads were determined to be "important" BUT if I wanted to, I could always "upgrade"--ie, "pay more"--to have all those ads just go away). And I foresee Yahoo doing the same **** thing--we pay now and, within the space of a year, we'll be seeing those ads once again (but, if we pay even more, then they'll go away). You people need US more than we need you.
I didn't ask to have my email display changed the last time you idiots foisted a change on us, yet you forced it on us and now, you're screwing us over again. I am NOT going to stop using my AdBlocker service for one reason: I DON'T WANT TO SEE THE ADS IN THE FIRST PLACE. -

I often see an ad just as I leave a page. I cannot go back and see the ad. It would be better if the ad stayed on the page if I go back. Just for the normal period of time before they switch.

Stop messing with the email!!! I will be changing to another website if you don't change the email back to the way it was. This is ridiculous! I do not and never well let ads onto my computer and this is aggravating! Yahoo was suppose to be the best but not now.

There is an attempt to stop me from using an ad blocker by disabling scrolling on my account, but the user experience is impossible with an older machine and slow internet without an ad blocker. This approach is not going to end well for Yahoo in this because I have work to do that is being interfered with, and I also have other better email accounts with more successful and better providers that I can use. The only thing keeping me here is habit, and this is infuriating enough that I very well may have to go that direction if it does not change by my next work day. This is what you do to a teacher in a COVID crisis?

Yahoo ads can be an inexpensive option for brands to promote their message to target audiences.

Yahoo! Mail is one of the most popular free email services in the world, but has been plagued by wide and flashing banner ads for a long time. Websites have to recover the cost of offering a service for free.
Thank you,
Yahoo Ad -

The problem is in your own browser, my friend, not the Yahoo website. Yahoo sells ad space to folks like DoubleClick, who use stuff from your own browser history to target ads to you. It is sort of like when a bunch of people in real life are offering you a breath mint, it probably means your own breath reeks. Sounds like, the ad sellers are seeing so many cookies in your browser, they figure the first thing you need is to get your browser cleaned up!
