Quit making everything for your narrative!!!! We have a right to be heard. Quit turning off comments

In addition Yahoo, either keep the comments for an article on or turn them off. There are many many times I see an article, see there are comments and then log in to post them and suddenly your “we are suspending comments” firewall is back up. I’m not just talking about political ones either. This has happened to me on sports ones and on the ones you post from buzz feed.
SO, either let us comment on ALL ARTICLES or turn ALL COMMENTS off for good and keep them off. Don’t just randomly put your firewall up right when someone is going to go comment. It’s super annoying

I have been blocked from responding in a conversation. No reason given other than "Unfortunately, you are unable to take part in this conversation right now as your comments have been blocked too many times."
Untrue. My comments have not been 'blocked too many times', nor is there anywhere on your website that has a number limitation if someone IS blocked. My comment response is pasted below. There is no breach of your guidelines, yet I am banned from the conversation. I would hope that you reinstate my active status and comment in the conversation, but I also request contact information to follow up on this legally."Your reply on States Rush Toward New Gun Restrictions as Congress Remains Gridlocked has been rejected as it contains content that is in breach of our community guidelines.

Yes, the deceased shooter might like an extra 15 minutes of fame on screen, but since he's deceased he'll never know, eh? The body count is what they are after, going for the largest death toll record, and sitting ducks ensure that. Take away the media coverage and the rates plummet too, but that doesn't stop politicians from grandstanding at vigils. As for *our* rights: "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed." If you are reading this it says the PEOPLE have the right to keep and bear arms. A militia by definition is composed of civilians, that are ELIGIBLE to be called. Just as jury duty can call 100 prospective jurors, not all are needed, but are still required to be ready. So in fact, they are urging normal citizens to arms themselves in the event they are needed, as opposed to limiting ownership. Many are called but few are chosen. Also, the Supreme Court sides with the right to bear arms. From Wiki: In District of Columbia v. Heller (2008), the Supreme Court affirmed for the first time that the right belongs to individuals..., In McDonald v. City of Chicago (2010) the Supreme Court ruled that state and local governments are limited to the same extent as the federal government from infringing upon this right. When you say "We are only asking for common sense controls" I have to wonder what group you are fronting for. -

Could Yahoo's already incredibly limited Comments section be any worse? Can't effectively follow my own comments, can't follow anyone else's, every other comment gets yanked for unknown reasons, a comment board may only be available the first time you use it, but never again. I get up votes for comments I can't even find. When I open my own comments, there is usually an ad over the X so I have to delete the page. What happened, Yahoo? This is like intentional aversion therapy. You used to be the best, now you're the worst. Absolute worst. It's like you hired kindergartners to develop Comments.

I want to know why THIS reply to a comment that was nasty was rejected. There was NOTHING in my reply that was untrue or bullying in nature, I simply asked a question based on the truth. You people have NO CLUE what you are even doing at this point if this is considered going against community guidelines. Do you even care???
Hope you do the same with anything made by Roman Polanski or Harvey Weinstein as well. Every single movie or tv show has someone behind it, in it or to do with it that has accusations about them. Have you boycotted every single thing? Roman Polanski r@ped a 14 year old child (1 year younger than my daughter actually), admitted to it and was convicted and fled the country to avoid jail time. He also was never banned from the Oscars like Will Smith who only slapped someone. He also received a standing ovation just several years ago for his lifetime achievement award even though he had been convicted and never came back to face judgement for his r@pe of that little girl. -

regarding removal of the comment section of this article is a pile of bovine excrement.
The discussion within the comment section reflects the reactions of the internet readers to the subject and content of the article, which was your intent for posting such a contentious report.
You have no one to blame but yourselves.
You are the instigators of the repartee which followed therein. Such is true whenever encouraging an emotional reaction to the reported context!
Yahoo!news is solely responsible (and thereby culpable) for any adverse actions stemming from the posting. -

Why have you removed the ability for people to express their opinion? if this is America then we shouldn't be afraid of each other we should be able to speak our minds even if we don't agree with each other. What you're doing is suppressing what you don't like and are posting what you like that's not fair my friends.

Yahoo constantly "temporarily suspends" comments, only for them to reappear a short time later, and it's super annoying. What is going on? Is it a glitch or is Yahoo that incompetent? I'd really like to know.

These idiots have been "gathering feedback" for three years! They have now become part of the problem instead of the solution! They might as well join with the government since they too are denying our right to speak!

stop with the one sided racists articles. Two white people were shot in Buffalo also.
What happened to the black guy that ran down the white crowd in Wisconsin?
You are a one sided liberal organization that censors comments.

Stop censoring comments when I criticize you for your OVERHANDED CENSORSHIP! You can't take criticism under your "community guidelines", hang it up. I've used Yahoo for over 20 years and will start weaning off of your biased ******** site. YOU SUCK!

Today, of the top 14 "news" stories you posted. NINE were from the "huff post" or "business insider". What's the matter? Can't you find other sources to lie for you? Then you tell us we can have those two rags removed from our feeds. YOU MISS THE POINT. Those should not be the primary sources of "news" on your page every single day. This is dishonest and you know it.

I TOTALLY AGREE WITH THIS!!!!!! Yahoo controls what people are able to read. How about free speech YAHOO????? Yesterday you allowed comments and when you didn't like them you pulled your old line out and shut them down. This is NOT GOOD FOR AMERICA! NOT GOOD FOR THE WORLD UNLESS YOU ARE A COMMUNIST!!!!!
