Quit making everything for your narrative!!!! We have a right to be heard. Quit turning off comments

Why are you suspending the comment’s section again? We are adults, people don’t have to read or comment in the comment section. Stop this insanity!!!

Yahoo will soon be bought out. Atleast I can hope.

Well you communist at yahoo have taken away the comments again. Not everyone agrees with you..

one sided "tabloid" style news, eh?

I had to send you a comment here because as usual....you at Yahoo are not allowing comments. Anyway....You really need to double check things. This so called " Senior Finance Yahoo Reporter..(Aarthi?) talking about Student Loans and people being mad about "Loan Forgiveness...is most likely someone working for the "Education Department". This "Aarthi" lady.is most likely not even a real person! If you look on LinkedIN...there are like ten profiles with that same name....some from India and some are proclaiming themselves a "Doctor".
Besides many fake profiles on LinkedIn....there is this one....that states....she doesn't say whether she is single or married or even her age....because her profile is so "secretive". In face her education on LinkedIn totally is in disagreement with what is stated on the Yahoo short "Bio Paragraph. You guys at Yahoo really need to double check your editorials made by people who have no history. Check out this one like for that name for example: https://www.linkedin.com/in/aarthi-swaminathan-920541223 -

Allowing free speech & comment on articles again would be a great idea. Then you could remove THE LIE, at the end of every story, saying "it's temporary" !

I hope someone buys Yahoo so we can state our opinions. Bring back comments. Stop censoring if it don't fit your wokeness.

I posted a comment similar to this at least a year ago, but it obviously fell on deaf ears, but I'm trying again.
This is the internet; if you want people to read your stories, you have to allow commenting on *all* of them, even [gasp] if you don't agree with some of them. And even on that rare story where comments are allowed, your "community guidelines" are too strict. Let us speak!

Without comments turned on there is no reason to even read this substandard news here. Only the comments were entertaining. Were some offensive? Mabe, but I'm a bigboy that can handle reading something that I myself might not agree with.
NOT EVERYONE IS GOING TO AGREE WITH YOU. Thats how it all works.
Hope Elon buys Yahoo like he did Twitter and make this place decentralized so we can post whatever we want. -

So who decides which articles are off limits when it comes to commenting? It appears some of your editors like activist David Knowles are off limits completely. I'm not surprised he and Yahoo would want to protect his articles. It's not hard to push a narrative when you don't allow for comments. Does he and Yahoo fear the people will expose the bias and destroy the narrative? Tyrants fear open debate.

Apparently their statement means "To Infinity and Beyond" -
"Our goal is to create a safe and engaging place for users to connect over interests and passions. In order to improve our community experience, we are temporarily suspending article commenting."
But what do you expect from another leftist big tech company that wants to continue to 'censor' what dopey fact checkers consider 'unsuitable' content. No one should be threatened and harassed, but free debate enhances society for those mature & educated enough to engage in it. Twitter is learning a lesson now!
Saves me time though b/c I can skip Yahoo news ; )

Not only do the Yahoo overlords prevent any comments they also prevent voting for any subject concerning bringing comments back . Good job ***** masters, good job.

In a free and open society there should be room for all comments both for and against any subject matter. Even if a majority of those comments are disagreeable to you. Democracy, remember?

The Yahoo mods think they are gods. They twist the rules and guidelines to fit their own biased agenda! People are beginning to hate Yahoo and the [platform is in obvious need of an overhaul with a replaced CEO and managers. Some of these crude mods must be fired ASAP!

Yahoo,
Am I removed from the ban that auto removed all of my comments or is it still in place? How many other people that comment do you send these threatening emails to?I Would like your supervisor to contact me because I believe there is an abuse of power and some moderators on Yahoo are given way too much leeway to use said power to shut down people who comment contrary than their own biased beliefs.
This is not China or Iran or Russia and those who abuse & overstep their power need to be fired. Who moderates the mods, are they being followed for infractions of company rules as they inflict their biases upon the format by shutting down voices they disagree with?
Who is in charge of looking at infractions pertaining to the Yahoo guidelines because I promise you there are Yahoo mods who are using their position abusively. I want to know which exact mod perma banned me from commenting and the exact rule that was broken.
This is but one reason Mr. Musk is looking at Twitter as they silence voices who opine other than their own.
Regards

I recently had this frustrating act of censorship happen to me:
1) "Expectations for media: "Beloved family man who struggled against racial oppression but still changed the lives of millions tragically died in an accident.
Regular people: Dude, did you see that stupid donkey got hit by a dump truck?" REJECTED
2) "Much like media members, Yahoo commenters are expected to only comment with the 'right' words on this story" REJECTED
3) "Lol. Yahoo rejects comment about comments being rejected. "You guys are hilarious." REJECTEDWhat is the point of having comments at all if this is how you treat them?

Seems you need help enabling commentary to your news articles since I can't comment on them. I can have the framework ready in 3 weeks.

This had been over a two year process. At what point do dumbasses do something? When their bosses tell them to. If your boss depended on an immediate response to his/her request for a raise, at the rate Yahoo moves, the boss would get the raise postpartum!
