I get it. The fact that it is there is not what is bugging me. The fact that I can not get to any of my messages until I address it and then I have to wait for an additional 15 seconds AFTER closing it is. My ad block lets threw most ads as long as they are not intrusive. I have had this email for over 2 decades, I do use it constantly for work, and for school as well as a second Email for recreational use. You are wasting my time. If this does not get changed I will leave yahoo and you will get no more revenue from me at all. A lot of the changes you have made in the past few years do not show care for your customers needs or wants.
Edit: Thank you for correcting this.

Visible ad will bleed through any video or article. This is not good. It makes me want to go to another site to get my news.

If you want to get rid of the "BLM" bullsh1t. Simply download the "Ads Killer Plus" extension.
1. Right click on anything you don't lie on this liberal rag website.
2. Click on "Block Element"
3. A popup window with webpage scripts appears.
4. Click on the "Create" button𝐒𝐚𝐲 𝐠𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐛𝐲𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐥𝐢𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐤 𝐬𝐮𝐜𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐝𝐬

Stop the requests. Waiting 10 seconds is annoying. I'll change email providers if you don't.

if you can reduce or sustain the same volume level on your yahoo page it would help your advertisers that much more it would be wiser to; 1, it makes one look up cause of the sudden loss of sound.2. it then allows you to look, read, and consider if ad applies to you?.3. If I want to sell you something RUDENESS, is not a good place to start from. 4. how can I stay on your page when other are sleeping and I must jump up to reduce / re-verse the reduction....how in the world could I consider, the analysis to the ad if its affecting me negatively, just sustain or lower the volume. I can see there thinking here is to get your attention but do your really believe that abruptly waking somebody up is gonna get the person so say, Hey I was on nice cat nap and the volume of a/z ad just woke me up ..let me run out and buy that!! I know for a fact that I spend less time on this yahoo. page and sometimes find myself here on the page and in nothing more then 3 minutes I realize why I don't stop here as much as I would like to. The whole idea is backfiring....don't take my word...ask around! Please consider and you will see my computer spend ten times more minutes on my favorite yahoo page....I guarantee it!

One of the reasons I use ad blockers is because some ads have audio associated with them. Imagine, if you will, that you are playing something else with audio and an ad comes up with audio. Now both are playing the audio at the same time. Very annoying. Or that you have a browser open while at work and some ad comes up and starts playing audio. Like your annoying Yahoo! email ad.
