Recovery of account after 2-way verification methods are obsolete
Dear Yahoo.
For the bet and increased security on my Yahoo.account, I gave my phone-no. and proffesional e-mail account to use for verification log-in process.
However, with time, I changed employer and new email, new phone no. and now +1 year later, I'm realizing that I have effectively been locked out of my yahoo-mail. Some 20 years after I made the account...
I am not technically savy guy, but my wife helps me to syncronize my mail on my PC and phone and I rarely have to been concerned with log-in. So the day I need to log-in, I can't. We called your support team in US, went through verification, and realized we had no ways to pay a 12.99 USD subscription fee for the "help service" and get the accound verification reset ONLY BECAUSE we do not have a US credit card and billing adresse.
Despite offering to make an one-off payment via international bank transfer, we could get any help.... to recover the account: Francenyalexander@yahoo.com.

With all the security and threats of fraud around today, I was supprised to find that the person at this call-center suggested to ask friends, family, collegues, or even friends' friends to give away their credit card information with US billing adresse, to reopen my account.
For a monthy subscribtion service of 12.99 USD, that you can and need to cancel ASAP in order not to get billed month after month.
After about 20 min, I was politely informed that they could not help me. Only way forward is to create a new log-in/new account.
Please let me know if there are ANY OTHER WAY TO GAIN ACCESS TO THE ACCOUNT AGAIN...?
