The new format sucks!!!!!! If I can't switch back I will find a new homepage.
Allow the customers to switch back. There is not one post here or on the net that says that someone likes the new format

Thank you for the feedback! We do have an option to revert back to the previous version. At the top of the page you should see a purple banner. Within that banner you would need to click on "Old Version" or you'll see an option saying return to yahoo.com. For additional support please visit help.yahoo.com

I agree. It’s terrible. If it’s not broke why fix it? Especially if you make it worse.

Right? Look at the Top 20 suggestions here, over half of them directly reference the garbage new homepage. Two years these suggestions have been up. Yahoo does nothing, proving they could not care less what you or I think about the product. Which is fine, I'm moving to Gmail and I'll just use Drudge to find news from now on.

Marisa's strategy, if there is one beyond a desperate, directionless, existence, is to suck anyone's john for a living. The front pages, Finance pages, and the last few good pages, are filled with piles of junk of pointless pieces of nobody cares. What idiots are calling the shots at Yahoo? Fire them all. Close down Yahoo. It's very dead anyway.

I heard Yahoo needs to record more "clicks" to show higher usage and get a better valuation for the planned sale of Yahoo's businesses. If true, we are helping their valuation go up at the expense of our time and we are not getting compensated What do you think?

why can't you make the "show more replies" ton to work?.......every so called "improvement" you people make is the worst thing ever......

I absolutely agree. The worst part being that I, my family, and my friends been giving them feedback since 1998 and they have ignored every word. It first slid off the rails when they became publicly traded. Investors have a knack for driving companies into the ground, normally while attempting to get a very small (less than 2 percent) increase in profits.

Oh my God, this new layout is so badly designed! I thought at first that I am seeing some kind of basic Yahoo Page. It does look like an old internet page, using bolded fonts and such plain ikons. Come one, maybe you tried to make it better for a smartphone but for a PC it just looks dumb. The old layout hat way more dynamics and style. Did a child designed this? No, sorry, a child would know how to create something vibrant, fresh and colorful. It actually feels like I am reading an obituary! Hire a designer yahoo!

You are right. I cannot believe that this is suppose to pass as a better version. I heard the rumors that Yahoo is in financial problems but if they cannot afford to hire good designers that might ad a modern vibe to their page than just leave it be. It was already great. What would you do something so simplistic and plain?

I so agree. I used to enjoy reading the news on yahoo. No more EVER unless they change it back. I have moved on to AOL!
