Unclosable Apple Ad
The fact that I cannot close that Apple ad is extremely annoying and has now officially pushed me away from Yahoo! permanently.

I have been a user of Yahoo! for several years. Today 07/14/2014, I noticed a reminder of concerts that are coming up this week. I CANNOT delete this ****. I do not listen to the artists that are listed and they are clogging up the Yahoo! Homepage. Thank you!

july 9 I agree with the above. I found that the ads are changing the web address. So I just type yahoo.com on the address bar and I go back to where I want to be. Very annoying but it works.

you need to check your security... there are sites that have hack your site so they can put there ads on for free instead of paying you. if you guys think your site is safe... you are only fooling yourselves. all the ads that are hacked into your site is slowing down my computer to the point that it times out every time. either fix it or let myspace take over the social networking because you guys can't keep the hackers out of your site.

I'm not really into Yahoo reviewing what sites I go into and post them for ads. I would think that this could be against the law.

Like I said in other post, I'll close My Yahoo account if this sponsored ads are not removed from mail service. I have the right to not be annoyed with non requested advertisement in my mail. If you at Yahoo think otherwise I'll just move my homepage and mail elsewhere.
After all this years you manage to force me to stop using your site. Gratz. -

That Apple iPad ad is costing ME money!!! It drastically slows & locks up my computer, I can't get any work done, and no work done on my computer means no BILLS GET PAID!!! Because of this ad, I will NEVER buy an iPad, nor any of those devices from Apple, and I will promote all over the net (even if I have to go to the library to find a computer that will work) what those ads and Apple are costing me!
I have used Yahoo! as a homepage for many, many, many years, the only one I have ever used, but I can't lose any more work time. Get it off or I'm getting off! This is getting serious! -

Apple ad = Bad. Yahoo email address since 1997. Yahoo home page, e v e r y d a y. Giant Apple ad that won't go away, not working for me. I understand free website and free email... but there are many fish in the sea, and nothing that really sets Yahoo apart from the others. It's your website to run as you see fit. But I am not going to look at that nonsense ad much longer. It's just irritating. Why visit a website that irritates you??

I am going to STOP using Yahoo and the GIANT Apple ad will disappear when I do ;-)

I HATE these huge Apple ads that hog the bandwidth until they finish running. Then they take up a quarter of the screen and I can't get rid of them. .... Give us back the ability to close them!!!!!
