Ombudsman needed
Have Yahoo News people considered having an ombudsman or public editor?
This would be a good way of a) channeling comments and complaints from readers, and b) making editorial policies and decisions clear. In the long run, the overall reading experience would be improved. As it is, if a reader has a narrow concern about a particular article, no contact information for the authors or editors are available.

Filthy LEFTIST garbage populating my Yahoo! opening page is unacceptable: World Popsugar US Obama's Former Photog Deserves a F*ckin' Medal!
It is despicable to have flighty, senseless children posting such garbage that ends up on my Yahoo! opening page. I've CHOSEN Yahoo! as my opening page for many years, but I am disgusted by virtually ALL "Yahoo! "News"" and the simpletons that write it. What is Yahoo's obsession with Israel?
Or to be more exact, your obsession with painting Israel in as unflattering a light as possible? Every day there are so many Israel stories on your site, yet hardly any about other countries, with the occasional exception of North Korea. Just today as I was scrolling through your top news stories, I came across no less than FOUR articles critical of Israel! Enough is enough!

Reason and Rationality
Given the opportunity to remove certain articles on Yahoo I would end up with a blank page. For the longest time Yahoo has been catering to the lowest common denominator. I suggest you be much more selective in the writers you select and the garbage that they write. Oh, and also why am I unable to view the responses to my comments. Yahoo, on a scale on one to ten.....you suck.

Not sure if this is the correct place to comment on your homepage ... there does not seem to be a "contact" tab on the homepage/news site.
Yahoo has been my homepage for several years and I have always enjoyed the news/info/comments. Recently you have changed the page. The scrolling news is hard to follow, does not remain active long enough and there are only 18 news items. Also, I used to enjoy seeing the readers' comments, however since you got rid of the up/down arrows, the only people who comment are extremely negative, repetitive and often plain wacko. Very…
