  1. New Finance Page awful!!!

I have NEVER co tasted yahoo before, but feel the absolute need to now. Your old finance page was so simple, easy to use and fantastic. Charts were sensational. Sure it was slightly simple and straightforward , but that is why it was so great. When you get so much going on like some other financial sites it becomes confusing. Yahoo finance had a great thing working! Please go back. The charts are awful!! I am going to have to find someplace else to go. Been using yahoo finance forever. It was truly fantastic before the change. Better than all…

  3. What can I say that hasn't been said?

I tried to get used to new format but I can't find anything to like about it. Its useless to me. Takes up too much space, can't sort through data, hard to find anything I was used to. Its very useless to me now. I have to use other website combination of charts now. Please give option to switch back to classic mode and see for yourself the number of people who prefer the classic format?

  5. I have used Yahoo finance for years

I have used Yahoo finance for years and always appreciated the format. Clear, concise, accurate and most importantly, HIGHLY useful. At times I would opt to use Yahoo in lieu of Ameritrade because the latter's data providers don't always pay attention to accuracy. I am terribly disappointed by the new format that has been up for awhile now. I lacks eye appeal, overly emphasizes news stories, and in general I find it a turn-off. Did any of your designers even think to check with people who use the system (e.g., focus group) before engaging in any self-indulgent, self-satisfying changes? No,…

  6. This is by far one of the worst changes I've seen with regard to user experience.

The reason the old format worked was because the page was structured so you see much of the information on the page without having to scroll down. The page was easy to navigate and different sections were clearly delineated with color, borders, etc.

This new-age format that uses a lot of whitespace works for google but does not work for a financial site with lots of figures and multiple sections. The pages are confusing, jumbled, hard to read, etc. Ridiculous that someone released this. Do us a favor and switch back.

  12. Idiots, go back to old format....now we cannot view options by strike price...brilliant way to lose users!!

Please revert to old layout... this one sucks and requires multiple clicks to get to pertinent info. Especially ridiculous that you cannot see options by strike price only by strike month... genius another Marisa Meyer f-up

  14. Revert to old layout!

    To whom this concerns,
Please revert back to the old layout! The changes make the page drastically less functional and much less easily navigable. With the new page, I can't even get my portfolio tickers as a pop-out. The new charts are also not as easy to read. For now, I will be using the page on Mozilla or Explorer; but if those change to this format, I will be finding a new site for my financial information and articles.
    Thanks,
    A long-time Yahoo! user

  18. I can handle the new format. I don't like the lack of information

I can handle the format change. Change is good, right? But I don't like the lack of information about mutual funds in particular. Yahoo Finance has been my go-to for independent data for about 16 years. Now it is ****. It was the best.

  19. WHY DOES YAHOO PERIODICALLY CHANGE THE FINANCE PAGE...

It seems that every so often Yahoo attempts to change the format of the finance page to a beta version even though its customers to prefer the old page. CHANGE FOR THE SAKE OF CHANGE DOESN'T ALWAYS WORK FOLKS...Leave a good thing alone. Please revert to the old page PERMANENTLY.
