Auto-play is sending me away. Bye-bye Yahoo news.
1) A long video ad should only play if I click on the video
2) At least stop the repeat auto-plays!
3) At least don't let two fire off at once!
I am tired of all the pop ups I am thinking of leaving yahoo

Seriously, STOP including auto-play videos. I am on the brink of avoiding Yahoo content permanently.
While you are at it, stop making me watch the same ad over and over again. If I am not interested in the product the first time I see the ad, seeing the ad 50 more times is just going to make me boycott the product entirely.
Finally, the ideal length for an ad is 5 seconds. If the ad is longer than that 9 times out of 10 I will just skip the content entirely. The content is not compelling enough to waste my time sitting through a 30 second ad.
Sometimes, two per page will load simultaneously. And, the one on the right is often on a different sport, such as football, and that's not something I care about.
And, stop your occasional pop-ups telling me to play fantasy basketball.

The video player is god awful and is made to victimize anyone that uses your site for fantasy. Just going to your homepage auto-plays a stupid commercial that has no close or pause or volume control! This is a poorly managed website, your need to push ads on us without even getting clicks is pathetic and needy.

Yes you included the option to stop auto play videos. However, the webpage does not save the preference, and the next time you visit yahoo, the ******** video plays automatically. If I want to watch videos, I will click on the link to watch videos, and your ads can play then. However, I visit box score pages to READ THE **** BOX SCORE and NOT WATCH HIGHLIGHT VIDEOS FILLED WITH ADS. Have you ever tried checking sport scores at work, at school, etc, and have the ads go off because the speakers arent turned off? Yeah, please consider this and turn off auto play videos. Either turn off the videos, or turn off the sound.
