Yahoo Finance Message Boards Far Too Restrictive
The Yahoo! Finance message boards are far too restrictive. I am a scientist commenting on Biotech companies and nearly any time I type a multi-sentence, intelligent post, my entry is rejected. It is beyond frustrating to spend time putting together something worthwhile without a hint of inappropriateness, just to have it rejected. Users of the boards regularly complain that they are experiencing the same. I guarantee you are walking away from dominating this segment by using such a frustrating, over-restrictive platform.

The "new" comment system auto filter is bad
Like literally, cannot say things like "wtf". This is an adult space anyway and i cannot say the word ****? Why not? It's such a common word used for many things!
Meanwhile bots and spammers are running rampant, they never use these words, yet they aren't blocked. Nice one, Yahoo

Why is EVERY comment I post rejected? How have I ever violated any community guidlines? I rarely even try to post. When I do try to post I type like I'm walking on the same eggshells that I imagine at work so I won't offend anyone. It would be nice to receive some sort of explanation. Tom

I want you to permanently ban a user who has repeatedly called me a pedophile on Yahoo. This is completely unacceptable and needs to be addressed. If this is not done I will take action. I have sent this demand to abuse@yahoo.com and have not heard back. I have every intention of holding Yahoo responsible if this is not addressed immediately.

You are removing harmless messages for no reason. Is this because a "bot" is processing reports of abusive messages without the brainpower to verify that the messages are in fact harmless and just deleting them without a human check?

Yahoo removes truthful claims but accepts false ones
Many Yahoo Finance and Yahoo News article become swamped with false and misleading posts. Yahoo almost never removes these posts, even if they've been flagged, and even though they violate the Community Guidelines.
One commenter falsely claimed that the FBI had told several lies. I knew that Yahoo wouldn't remove the misinformation, so I didn't flag it. Instead, I asked the commenter for a source.
Instead of posting a source, the commenter said vaguely that the source was "right there." He also stated that the FBI had admitted to lying and was the source of his claims, but didn't back…
