    There is no way to delete a portfolio in yahoo. Followed all directions an suggestions in the help menu. Delete Portfolio is now were to be found. Not on the right side of the page, in the setting button, or anywhere else on the page. Tired of playing this game of keep away, will quite all yahoo apps if not resolved. What else are you doing; and WHY? I know you think you are clever making us look all over your pages of advertising; but it is just IRRITATING. .

    Quite many are asking the same questions.. Here's some help:

    How to delete a portfolio?

    - first, by clicking the portfolio open so that you can see it's contents
    - then selecting Settings ... (which is at the right hand side)
    - and finally, from the drop-down menu of Settings, select the last one: Delele Portfolio

    This works with all other portfolios, byt not the one that titled as My Watchlist.

    How to delete a stock from a portfolio?

    - first, open the portfolio from which you want to delete stocks
    - then, just find the stock you want to delete ...
    - and, check the check-box on the left side of the stock name
    - finally, scroll up so that you can see the trash can symbol and the text "Delete symbols"

    These are quite easy and should work as instructed because I tested them in a browser window of my laptop. But if you're using a smart phone app or something, then ithe procedures may be different.

    HOW DO WE DELETE A ******* PORTFOLIO THAT WE DON'T NEED?!?!?!? Shouldn't that be right out in the OPEN???

    There's no easy way to delete a portfolio.

    This site is messed up terribly. There is no way to delete and separate "portfolios. What's the big deal? Site was much easier to navigate BEFORE it was "improved!" So how can I delete a portfolio?
