People are taking advantage of the forums and are posting 100's of useless comments per day on the financial stock forums.
By limiting to 10 post per day we might get more valuable information posted or at least not so much trash.161st ranked
I'd like to have a watchlist of specific stocks and designate a specific price for each one. When the market price reaches a specific target price, I'd like the option of 1) a pop-up message telling me that stock has reached that specific price, and 2) an e-mail alert with the same information. This feature should be available on both desktop and mobile versions of Y-F. Currently I have an Excel spreadsheet with each selected stock and a target price for each one, but I have to manually review my watchlist prices and compare against my spreadsheet targets. Having an integrated target alert feature would help those of us who don't have the time during the day to continue to monitor 25-50 stocks in a watchlist.

I'm a product manager in a tech company and an investor in the market for some time now.
I would like to suggest the following:
Add tooltip to each financial number within the system, explaining to novices what it means.
P/E Ratio will have a tooltip such as: the ratio of a company's share price to the company's earnings per share.
You can also include a "learn more" link within the tooltip.
I think that many novice investors will benefit a lot from this very easy to implement feature.161st ranked
In the app, it would be helpful to show the dollar daily change for a portfolio, not just the percentage change. This was available in the old version of the app.263rd ranked
Is there a way to control the sources of news headlines (like filtering out Zacks, which just spams the news feed with uneducated attempts at stock reports)?263rd ranked

Currently, to move a stock between portfolios, one has to copy all the stock data by hand from the 'old' portfolio into the 'new' portfolio, then go back and delete that stock from the 'old' portfolio. This seems silly, when a simple 'move to' option could do that, if it were available.161st ranked
I created a list with 45 stocks, including all the purchase info. Later decided I want to split into two lists. There needs to be a way I can simply move stocks to a different list. Now the only way to do this is delete the stocks and reenter all the purchase info in a separate list. Archaic! Please!!263rd ranked
Thanks for your feedback. You can import your original portfolios and export them to the desired one and delete the lots you don’t need. Please access the next article for further assistance: https://help.yahoo.com/kb/finance-for-web/sln15034.html
Watchlist(s) are nice, but missing possibility to add personal notes for each stock. It' should be just free text where i can write my stock reasearch notes(eg. "Secondary offering done 01.01.2020. Phase III results expexted 30 april." ...).
In ideal main page("/finance.yahoo.com") watchlist stock should have notes icon, on mouse over you can see notes window and have edit button.
Currently you just have to keep separate spreadsheet for that.161st ranked

It would be great if you could chart the value of your portfolio over time in the same way you can chart anything else.

When reviewing the holdings of an ETF you can usually see a list of stocks and their corresponding tickers.
I think that making these tickers clickable can be super beneficial and will make the app's usage much slicker.
Because of the stocks that are posted with a 15 min delay, confusions would be avoided if "change", "change %","volume", and "day chart" was wiped out just before the market opens so that between 9:30 and 9:45 we would know that it's not YESTERDAY'S quote.263rd ranked
It's very helpful to have "reverse quote" button or link for currencies. For example if I am looking at USD/MXN, have a button there to go to MXN/USD quickly. It is very common one wants to see both sides of the quote. Thank you.263rd ranked
