Indexes at top of Home/Summary page
The top of the Home/Summary page shows TSX, S&P 500 and Dow Jones on the left side, but the Nasdaq is way over to the right and can’t be seen. Please move the Nasdaq over to the left side, next to the Dow. Thank you

Add sort (ascending/descending) buttons on trade column headers in My Holdings
I am unable to sort (ascending/descending) any of the columns in My Holdings. I want to be able to sort Trade Date, Shares Cost/Share & Market Value. If I enter a trade with a date that is out of sequence, I do not have the ability to sort them so they are in chronological order.

Elusive - How yahoo finance calculates performance percentages. ie. stock cost, dividends, compounding etc. 5 yr 10 yr
U all are great. Would like to have some definition of how yahoo finance calculates a stock, fund or ETF performance for 1 yr, 5yr 10 year. What is in the formula. Dividends, TVM Time Value of Money, Price growth or reduction. I tried to run a model to emulate your numbers.

Please add an Iron Ore tracker to Yahoo. I sent in an email and was referred back to "Send us feedback on the Yahoo Finance Feedback Forum."

How can we edit the shares cost since it doesn't include the Broker fee
How come in the Beta version we can't edit the cost of a share price. Because the average cost doesn't include the Broker fees

historical data
Pretty please allow us to view & download historical prices for our entire watchlist at one time! At the very least, please offer it for the paid membership tier.
Instead, I'm now cancelling my yahoo finance plus membership & paying for a Morningstar one simply so I can find the total returns for the past year or so.

Profit column sorting order
I have recently started using this feature. Suggestion for improvement. The profit column should be sorted as per %age and not amount.

Pre-market and post-market prices are shown on the app but not the desktop. This would be very helpful

Journal / Notes section needed in Finance app
It seems you're paying attention to the recent negative FB towards recent changes. Hopefully you eventually nail this thing. Assuming you do, a feature I know serious traders/investors would love would be a journal/notes section, whether per ticker or as a menu item. It would also be great to be able to paper trade or easily establish a prediction and measure past results. I'd subscribe again if there was a journal / note section though.

Colored boxed % of up or down
Bring back the red and green boxed % of up or down in finance in the portfolio section. Your new way of red or green numbers are difficult to see for many of us seniors. Also most senior men have some sort of color blindness. So this was a Bad change. Please look at this issue. Thanks John Root

I would be happy to get assistance with having monthly and YTD summary of my portfolio (and/or just a graph of the history of my portfolio)!
In addition, another (and might be more important) feature request is to have tax simulators -> Saying how much my portfolio worth after tax payments (and tips like "if you sell after this date, it'll be long term capital gain and you'll get more money")
