The app should alert me when the technical indicators are triggered. RSI etc, conditions are met that I setup for notifications etc.
Robinhood app currently does this and I feel yahoo finance users can not only benefit from this but will help them stay active in using yahoo finance more frequently.
This needs to be offered on both app and web versions of yahoo finance, with push notifications for the web version.

It seems for indicators, all of them, there’s limited options. Most help but for swing traders focused on longer periods and those looking to identify possible resessions, it seems there’s only options, as attached of up to 1 week.
I suggest going beyond that, like 2 weeks, 1 month, 3 month, etc.
This can help investors in many ways and help multiple investment styles.

Custom Symbol Cost/Value data incorrect
When adding custom symbol to my portfolio and making a buy transaction then it doesn't show correct Cost/Value data for this position. For example if I buy 2 shares at 1000$ price then the Total Cost and Market Value both should be 2 x 1000$ = 2000$. Currently it displays both as 2$. This is really simple calculation error that should be fixed long time for now, but this bug has existed at least 4 years. Please fix it asap.

I need to fix the number of shares in a previously purchased lot. The new Summary page does not allow me to edit . Why?????
Include an edit button for transactions. The old version had it, why not this one. Dumb!

Selecting "transactions" forces user to re-select symbol, cumbersome
In an existing list, selecting "View Details" and then "Details" and then "Shares" to "See Transactions" shows all transactions for all symbols and the userr has to reselect the symbol from the drop-down list. Way too many clicks compared to pre 2.0 and why should the user have to select the symbol twice?

Please respect user selected symbol order
In a list where the user has slected an order for the symbols, selectiing "View Details" arbitrarily reorders the list to alphabetical and does not respect the user selection. This makes it diifficult to compare with other sources of information.

Add UK Gilts (akin to US treasuries)
UK Gilts (akin to US Treasuries) aren't available to add to a portfolio.
They are standard instruments tradable like any other share on the london stock exchange.eg. https://www.londonstockexchange.com/stock/T26/united-kingdom/company-page
Can gilts be added please.

Support interest bearing investments (such as CD) in Portfolio 2.0
I would really like the ability to track interest bearing investments such as certificates of deposit as part of a portfolio.
I used to do this in an old portfolio using a $$CD symbol with the dollar amount just manually tracked, update manually every few months.
The custom symbol ($$CD) isn't ideal because:
1. it doesn't track gain at all
2. as of portfolio 2.0 the market value of these custom symbols isn't even included in the total portfolio value.37th ranked -
fix the math - switched to 2.0 and portfolio value is WAY wrong, not apparent where the math error is
2.0 summary data is way off what it was from previous. not able to determine how a very positive balance is not very negative. fix the math.

Please fix "My Portfolio" (Total) so that I can change base currency to my local currency instead of USD.

Export watchlist customised headings and data
I like how you can customise the headings for the watchlist but the issue is when you export to CSV it does not export the customised heading data it reverts to a generic set of headings that lacks the detail of the customised view. Hoping this is an easy product improvement. Thanks

Bugs
"My Holdings" is where you enter transaction data, but there is NO way to edit that view to include a "High or Low price or other data that shows up on the "Day Watch". If I'm missing something please tell me how to correct.

finance.yahoo.com is not functioning as it used to be (a step backward)
The search box behaves different than yesterday. Try type UNC or TWO. Both are legit stock symbols. However, it matched to a "private company". I have to type Unitedhealth to see Unitedhealthcare Group in the dropdown. Please reverse the change back to the previous version.

Dividend Transaction Editing
I'm loving the Portfolio 2.0 Beta. The dividend feature is really helpful and exactly what I was looking for. Even though the dividend transactions are accurate 98% of the time, sometimes there are duplicate transactions or some error in a reported dividend. However, currently, there is no option to edit the dividend records.
1. Please let there be an option where users can edit the dividend transactions after they have been automatically added to the dividends tab or let users add them manually also.
2. Can you please add a feature of yield on cost wherever applicable?

Total Gain vs 1 Year Gain vs Reality
Although I use my portfolio 2.0 to individually enter every single; deposit, fee and all stock transactions, I see -20.95$ loss on all time total gain, +46.33$ earnings on 5Y & 1Y gain, whereas my total gain of all time actually is +26.00$. (Been in the market since October 2023 so 1Y, 5Y and all time gain should show all the same.)

Wrong dividend transaction
As of 9 Nov 2023, I have 800 shares to S68.SI. But, in the Dividends page of Portfolio 2.0, it shows that I have 1,600 shares, which sums up to the wrong dividend amount.
Weird enough, in the next dividend date 20 Feb 2024, it shows that I have 800 shares again.

Search in Finance returns strange PRIVATE security
When I search in Yahoo Finance with a stock or ETF symbol such as XLV your search box will often bring up some strange Private XLV security that I have never heard of. It also happens with others such as SBUX or CRM. Please fix it.

Allow search of funds / ETF etc using the ISIN code
Apparently the Yahoo finance system does not categorize assets using ISIN codes which are widely used in the financial system. This is the reason why when we search for funds of similar introducing an ISIN code results are variable. Sometimes no result at all.
