  1. ticker symbol on yahoo chart with line

I like to track around 10 funds at a time on the finance chart. With that many funds, it's often very difficult to tell which line is which fund. Is there a way you can start tagging the ticker to the line - maybe where the % change box is, along with the % change? In instances where there are overlapping boxes, maybe have balloons that come off the lines, so you get all of the info, rather than some of it.

  2. holdings data missing

Some of my holdings are frequently missed with My Portfolio.
This has occurred since the beginning of this week.
I registered some 70 issues in My Portfolio, and, certain stocks' holding data are lost sometimes.
Specifically, values of BEN, KO, GILD, CNI, SP, GIS are lost frequently.
Reloading the page works but fully doesn't.
So, I have to reload twice or more.
When those data are lost, the issues disappear among downloaded CSV data also.

  5. start at portfolio Go to quote of a security. go to chart. from their you cannot get back to portfolio directly. Going back from chart take.

Start at portfolio Go to quote of a security. go to chart of that security.. From there you cannot get back to portfolio directly. Going back from chart there is a left arrow that takes you to the previous Quote page of the security but going back again using the left return arrow takes you back to the chart . You then have to look up your links in order to return to your portfolio page. This is a bug that needs to be fixed!.

  8. Incorrect stock information

Using quote lookup on Yahoo Finance US, incorrect news items are posted.

Symbol ARCC (Ares Capital) results in news items for Arabian Cement, an Egyptian Stock Exchange entity

Symbol GPC (Genuine Parts) results in news for Gunpowder Capital, a Toronto Stock Exchange entity

This is exceptionally sloppy, and yet another failure of the new Yahoo Finance design.

  9. I have to agree with MANY others that if you want to expend the least effort to restore the most useful

I must agree with most, that you took one of the BEST free portfolio functions on the web and turned it into one of the worst. However, I see the potential to add functionality that, to my knowledge, is only available for a fee or if you have an account with a broker. You may make your way back to the top, again, if you implement these before losing too many users.

For instance, when you open your new portfolio you get a view including multiple lines containing something that looks like dates, prices and quantities of shares traded. This…

  17. Day's Change is incorrect on the day a new position is added

When adding a holding to a portfolio it always screws up the Day's Change of the security and the overall portfolio. For some reason Yahoo will calculate the entire day's move as the day's gain of my holding, which is not correct. This would be a very simple logic change: if the Date Added of a position is 'today', do not calculate Days Change from yesterday's close, instead calculate from my purchase price.

  18. EURUSD=X 52-week high & low % change is still NOT correct

The 52-week range is correct, the percentage changes are not correct!

Also, I don't see any 52-week percentage changes for any other EURO currency pair, I only see for USD.

  19. Bogus and missing data for HTZ January Call Options - Cannot track the Call Options I now own

I just rolled up/out my Call options on HTZ to Jan-19'18 $22.50 and Yahoo has no data for what would be HTZ180119C00022500. Oddly, data are provided for (bogus) HTZ180119C00022000 (and also HTZ180119C00027000 btw) call nestled between valid $20, $25 (and $27.50) calls! I don't know where the data for the bogus calls is coming from, but I would really like to be able to track my 22.50 calls which are real.
I retrieved the data on 10/18/2017 from https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/HTZ/options?p=HTZ&date=1516320000 and this is an excerpt of what I saw that demonstrates the problem:
    HTZ180119C00020000 2017-10-17 1:25PM EDT 20.00 6.78 6.30 6.60…

  20. Page down in a large portfolio goes more than a full page, skipping several stocks.

If there are 20 stocks on the first page of a large portfolio, page down goes down about 23 stocks, skipping three stocks. It should only go down 19 stocks so that the bottom of page 1 becomes the top of page 2. That way you know no stocks were skipped.
