Portfolio 2.0 and wrong currency management
Portfolio 2.0 and wrong currency management.
If you have your portfolio in CHF and the stock in EUR, all the transactions must be in EUR and the conversion must be done at portfolio level. Moreover, there is something buggy, even with different currency the total gain is wrong, all my portfolio has been messed up now, plus the time lost to understand what happened.
Could you please fix or allow us to go back to the previous version?
11th rankedCan you please check if you have Cash Management Turned ON or OFF? In most cases, if Cash Management is ON, it assumes you have cash available for transactions, and if you do not have any Cash, then it shows cash as negative, which shows less total value for your Portfolio.

Get rid of the "dock" on the right side of the Yahoo Finance portfolio page!
The "dock" on the right side of the Yahoo Finance portfolio page squeezes the number of columns that can be viewed on the screen and is a huge step backwards from the old portfolio view. There is a button to customize the dock, but it doesn't let you get rid of the dock. That is unacceptable. Please fix this asap.

Portfolio 2.0 dividends displayed incorrectly for some stocks.
For TEF.MC some previous dividends are counted in twice. There are duplicated rows for one dividend payout with a one day difference (e.g. Dec 15 and Dec 16 2022), but it is actually one payment.

Please return to the previous view of portfolios
There used to be toggle in settings for turning compact view on and off in portfolio views. As of end of day yesterday (Nov 20, 2024), that is gone and now all of my portfolio views are in the expanded state (this is where I see day range and 52 week range graphically instead of just text). That makes me unable to see my entire portfolio on one screen, and there is far too much white space. It makes the portfolio views far less useful. Please allow me to view in a compact manner again, thank you.

Portfolio 2.0 pages load too slowly, runs sluggish. I've tried it several times over the past month and it is always sluggish.
Make pages load faster. It currently is sluggish compared to previous version.

zero cost
I want to add buy transactions at zero cost in portfolio 2. I prefer to handle reinvested dividends in this way and could do so before, but portfolio 2 now insists on a non-zero value. There is no reason not to allow zero cost but the transaction save button is disabled if it's zero
19th rankedWe're working on it! Zero-cost transactions will be supported soon.

Notes do not display in custom view
If using the "Notes" column in a custom view, the portfolio view only states how many notes there are. Hovering over "1 Note" does not give an option to view the note, but only gives options to delete the holding or add a lot. Entirely disfunctional!

Best portfolio tool was 1998 .
It’s been down hill ever since. Lost all my basis information in latest version.
In 1998 it would show total dividends at bottom column. Total basis, sort by any column, etc , etc.
This latest version makes it useless. Lost tolerance for all declines

New Portfolio View Is Terrible!
Can't sort by change % and save order, Can't enter multiple symbols like before, can't check off symbols to be deleted like before

Will you guys stop screwing around with the layout? I don't like new layout with panel on the side. It reduces space for my portfolio layout

Move the market info back on top where it used to be.
You are covering up about 1/3 of my portfolio info; is very frustrating to scroll all the way down to move it over and then back up to check notes and then down again. Bad, bad design--use some common sense!!

Congratulations ! Your transfer of my data to the new "enhanced" portfolio format has effectively rendered "My Portfolio" useless.
Lost all of my manually-entered data (trade dates; high limits; notes) in the transfer to the "new" product, and apparently the new format has no function to edit existing portfolio data (if there's an edit button, I can't find it).
Plus, how hard would it be to use a static information bar at the top of each portfolio, and allow users to scroll left-right without having to go all the way to the bottom of the portfolio? Those are long-standing issues (as REAL, not imaginary, improvements) that you never bothered to fix.
I've been a customer since the late 1990s.…

The changes to the Yahoo Finance portfolio format are terrible. Spacing between items is wide. Having to scroll horizontally is terrible.
Allow removal of sidebar. Restore tighter format of portfolio items or give an option to do that.
