It's all about the chat. In year's past, I thought Yahoo chat was great. I used to brag about the Yahoo platform because it was so user friendly, had alot of customization, and most importantly because it had a fantastic chat feature. What made the chat so great? It was the little things. First off, you were able to see what other owners were online and with read receipts. Being able to see who was hanging out in the chat was awesome and was much more important that you think. Second, GIFs and pic uploads are absolutely crucial. We need a wide range of GIFs and the ability to upload pics with ease. This just helps provide entertainment and build comradery amongst league mates. Third, being able to react to messages is awesome. It allows you to agree with or validate someone's point as well as disagree with someone. It's the little things that made Yahoo chat great, and I feel like that is officially dead and gone as of 2019. It breaks my heart. Recently, I have migrated my league to Sleeper, all because of the Yahoo chat basically imploding on itself. Not to mention I have a ton of old DMs from years past that I can't delete. These messages just appeared out of nowhere recently and it's very annoying. A support tech from Yahoo basically told me "too bad, nothing we can do" which was the last straw for me. We are on Sleeper now, but obviously it doesn't have the same settings and options that Yahoo had so we are really torn. We will be making a decision by end of July, early August on whether or not to use Yahoo or Sleeper. Currently, it looks like we are going to use Sleeper because, like I said in the title, it's all about the chat.
