US Holidays option needs fixing.
For Yahoo Calendar: I have US Holidays turned on. For Nov 24, 2023 the following holidays are listed: Banks may be closed; Civil Servants Holiday; Lincoln's Birthday; Public Holiday; Indian Heritage Day; Civil Servants Holiday (again); Civil Servants Holiday (trice!!). Can someone please put a STOP to this travesty? Does anyone check for this?

Put calendar icon back to where a person can add it to the taskbar.
Used to be able to have an icon for my calendar, but now I have to go to my mail and then click on the calendar icon. Don't like this!!!!!

When I get Yahoo to email me today's events, it sometimes puts an item from the day before into today, it is shown in calendar as yesterday.
Please fix this as it happens quiet often!

Calendar Word Wrap
The previous version of Calendar would word wrap an event in monthly view. Now all events truncate on a single line with dots... if the event text does not fit on one line. Please restore the event word wrap function.

Option to set a default reminder for every new event.
It was there before. They removed it. It helps a lot and saves time.

Lousy new calendar!
Loathe the new calendar! Impossible to read; miserable to edit - and I use it for business. Will be leaving yahoo soon for Google Apps.

I don't like the new calendar idea. Go back to the old oneI don't like the new way the trash box has been done. I like the old version. I don't like any portion of the new yahoo mail. Go back to the old version.

calendar reminders don't work (don't save)
the "new improved" calendar doesn't work as well as the old one b/c the calendar reminders DO NOT SAVE. have tried entering & saving reminders sev times, website says "saved" but does not do so

calendar event location/address links
When you add an event on the calendar it asks for a location, then it creates a broken link for that location which it emails to you and it is also clickable on the calendar..
Why not update the base code of that location link to
https://search.yahoo.com/search?p=
instead of
http://rd.yahoo.com/calendar/event_detail/location+map/*http://maps.yahoo.com/#q=
That way when you click on the link you will end up on a search page that has links to maps that work.

As above - the date is displayed far too faintly to be read at a glance...makes this new Yahoo mail format very irritating

Hundreds of calendars
I have literally hundreds of yahoo calendars that I did not intentionally create nor can delete in bulk.
Apparently every single time I have been invited via my yahoo email to an event, yahoo has created a new calendar titled with strings like "0DC4A3BB-1A00-4F90-8BF0-E807E98FC7E7" My suggestion is two-fold:
1) When someone invites me via email, add this event to an existing calendar like personal or work or whichever calendar is set as default. Do not create a whole new calendar for one event.
2) create a way to delete calendars en masse instead of having to click each one, then…

Is it possible to alter annual to be more specific; like: annual/ 1st sunday of august
More options for annual, or repeats: 1st Sat of month, 1st Sun in August...

Bring back "Yahoo Reminder" and get rid of "me"
If I choose to receive and email reminder, I want it to be from "Yahoo Reminder" as it was for years, not from "me". Yahoo Reminder stood out and was useful, "me" is not, especially since you use "me" for any emails I might send to or cc myself on. I don't like that either. Use my sender name when I send myself emails. If some people like "me" the give us the option to set the "from" for reminders and self-sent emails.

Reminders that are sent from my Yahoo calendar to my Yahoo email are put in the spam folder instead of my Inbox. Pls fix this.
