  1. Emails should not get deleted

    Hi,

    I logged into my Yahoo email today to find that all my emails have disappeared inbox and sent. Not sure whether I was hacked into or they have just been removed by the system. I have had this account for over 10 years and have some very important and reminiscent emails over the years.
    Please can these be restored urgently!

  2. Learn to Block Unwated Spam for your Loyal Users

    Please improve your spam blocking protocol/algorithms. It couldn't be more obvious that emails like "mariana.batista@dkayxmxq.msn.com" are spam. I get at least 7-10 emails a day that are blatantly fraudulent, fake offers & emails that could be easily blocked.

  3. the top banner has no chat rooms or forums as an option. please fix it.

    i would like to be able to access chat rooms and forums from my mail box screen. on the same banner where I am able to click on the news. I don't want news. I want to chat and send memes and gifs. I want the 90s back. Bring back messenger and chat rooms please.

  4. I am getting lots of advertisement emails due to which I had skipped reading important emails which has penalised a good sum to me.

  7. not able to perview attachments from last some days

    From last some days cant perview attachments, these are getting downloaded but not perviewable for all formats i.e excel/pdf etc.

    Even i treid to contact yahoo specialist but sorry to say that your that option is also not working i.e after verifying and confirming not robot it agains comes on same page i.e contact yahoo specialist.

  8. Blocked addresses

    The limit of 1000 blocked address should be increased to unlimited. I am getting tons of spam unwanted mail everyday and I have almost reached the limit 1000 or give me an alternative solution.

    Spammers are constantly evolving their practices and blocking their email addresses does not help, as they are mostly sending emails from spoofed addresses or they send the same content but from different email addresses, which makes it look like they are coming from the same email address. Marking them as Spam teaches your personal filter to recognize them as Spam. I'm sorry there is no quick fix for this issue!

  9. How to ensure the emails are deleted

    I spend a fair amount of time trying to weed out/delete unwanted emails and blocking unwanted senders/spam, yet I come back to my mail an hour later to find the same emails back in my inbox as if I did nothing! This poor security performance has caused me to miss important emails, continue to receive unwanted emails, as well as clogg up my inbox! Quite frankly I am sick of it. I guess maybe its time to consider a permanent solution or different provider...

  11. account deactivation

    Feedback from an extremely unsatisfied customer - you should rethink your policy about deactivating the account when it has been 12 months or more especially without reaching out to that person through their additional email should they have one. If the policy must be kept because your company is running low on storage on the backend and does not want to pay for more then please allow the emails to be recoverable. I have pictures of my father who just passed away in the emails that were deleted plus many memories that you cannot get back. 12 months is not…

    We're really sorry to hear about your loss, you have our sincere condolences. Unfortunately, if a user doesn't log in to their account for 12 months (i.e., if an account is unused or dormant for 12 months), it is deactivated. Once this happens, emails that were in the inbox at the time of deactivation can no longer be recovered. We apologize for the inconvenience.

  12. Stop reading my emails as evidenced by "Your package was delivered". They're supposed to be private!

    "Your package has been delivered" is evidence that you are reading my emails. They're private! Stop reading emails before you go broke.

  14. replying to long threads often fails with unknown error

    Fix the errors with long threads failing with unknown error. Either give some clarification as to why it's failing, or fix the bug. After retrying 5-6 times, it usually works so it's not an issue with the thread or recipients

  15. So much mail going into Spam

    In the last few days/weeks, Yahoo is sending perfectly legitimate emails (even replies to emails from me) into the Spam/Junk folder. Why is this happening? I am missing very important emails. Even when I mark the email as not spam, subsequent emails still go into spam.
    A friend of mine has noticed this too.
    It is very frustrating and never happened before. In fact, Yahoo was probably the best at handling Spam and real emails.

    Recently you may have noticed an increase in email going to the Spam folder for senders using Office 365 and other Microsoft products. We are in the process of addressing this issue and expect it to improve over the next several days. Please keep marking the mail in the Spam folder as “not spam” or “ham” and that will help to correct the issue. Thanks for your patience.

  19. Weird bug: Content of sent mail is incorrect in Android app but correct in browser.

    Hi,

    I sent a mail from chrome browser in Windows desktop. After few minutes I checked the sent folder and it looked okay. After more minutes I rechecked the sent folder but this time in Android Yahoomail app. I could see the sent mail but the content is different from what was actually sent.

    It looks like yahoomail automatically saves a draft every few seconds while typing a long mail & somewhere in the process the sent mail in Android app is reflecting the content of one of those intermittent drafts & not that of the actual mail sent.

    Hi there! Sometimes when a mailbox behaves like this it’s because of another program or app the account is being accessed from.

    Syncing issues between the account and a mail app can cause emails to be moved around oddly. If you access the account through a mobile device or app, you may want to remove the account from the device and re-add it to resolve any syncing issues in the future.
